Great idea for an idler. The balance is a bit off I think, but overall quite fun. I like that the research tree expands. I don't think you ever mentioned the layoff functionality in the tutorial, so I didn't use it during the demo. Functionally, the scrolling windows in the workers page could probably be done away with if you did some clever conditioning.
