The game isn't super in depth, but it does tell a simple story and some of the mechanics do a good job of representing anxiety. The gameplay is simplistic with just navigating a simple maze however the door puzzles are a refreshing challenge. It is pretty repetitive and would be quite short if you don't take the time to interact with as much as possible, though that turns it into more of a list of recommended books.

This is a nice little game about anxiety. It does a good job with the atmosphere and the writing. It doesn't seem to have options or a way to save, but it's a short game under 2 hours. Some gameplay mechanics are a little frustrating, but I feel like that's purposeful because anxiety can also be frustrating. I also enjoyed the easter eggs. Now I have some reading recommendations :)

Doesn't Save

The game doesn't save at all. Once you close out of the game, the next time you start it up, you'll be right back at the beginning all over again. This is extremely frustrating with the addition of a "continue" option on the main menu. Overall, I really wanted to like this game, but that added a level of frustration for me that didn't really go away....
