DIFFICULTY UPDATE!!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

You can now play the game on Easy or Hard!

Difficulty is selectable on first launch or in the game's settings!

Changes:

Made Writing, RPG, and Scary Maze adjust depending on your selected difficulty
Added difficulty option in settings
Added difficulty selector
Remade Skip button in RPG
Added "Swap to Easy" button in RPG, appearing after dying twice and if you're not on Easy already
Disabled Y to hide interface on controller

Fixes:

Fixed typo in Casino line

Trinket duplication glitch

On Pinkman's campaign, after running away from Yaoi Central, you can go to Hakurei Temple (Casino) and before entering it you can pray. Praying gives you 1 trinket (lil plushie) that costs 400 pacca. You can then enter the temple, sell the trinket, go back, pray to get another plushie, and repeat the cycle. Pretty neat thing to know....

Version 26.05.29.1 is out!

Changes:

Added time and season change icons to Indigo Mode's map
Made the buttons in Indigo Mode have event icons if there's an event in the respective location
Made the buttons in map sections show the event icon if it progresses the story
Made the "What now?" message in Pinkman House of Indigo Mode only appear once per cycle

Fixes:

Put [c]fogbase.png[/c] in the correct folder
Deleted unused map highlight images
Added event icon in the map for when Arang goes out alone in Pink Mode

Changed images for the choice menu buttons
Made background desaturate a bit when someone is talking
Decreased the blur amount of the background when someone is talking
Decreased saturation in general to all backgrounds
Added fog to the Expanse

Fixes:

Fixed skipping being broken after drowning in Green Mode

*DISCLAIMER*: I composed some of the music for this game, and almost all of the sound effects...

Unironically and genuinely some of the funniest story writing I have witnessed in a long time. I play tested the demo of this game back in its very early days and seeing how far it has come since then is insanely impressive. I wasn't expecting myself to get so heavily invested right off the bat, but then I accidentally spent 3 entire hours beating the story, and I'm still tempted to go back for the achievements... and the casino.

I also wasn't expecting 3d rendered cut-scenes in a 2d based visual novel, but I guess that's the quality you get from Team Arang - for FREE too, what the hell? My only concern was that there was not enough yaoi, despite the direct MLM/yaoi warning. Please, more yaoi...

By the way, never forget, the horse always has the edge.
