Beta Sign-Ups Are Open!

Hey everyone,

Today I have news about the beta! Beta testing will begin in mid-January, starting with a small sample of testers and gradually increasing over time.

For Mnemonimov’s playtesting I’ll follow the same approach that I used for Virtual Circuit Board, which was very effective for gathering feedback and catching bugs. This will be a closed beta with all the communication, feedback, and bug reporting taking place in the Mnemonimov Discord[discord.gg], so joining the community is essential for participating. If you want to apply for the beta, please fill out the sign-up form linked below.

Who is this aimed at?

Given the limitations (monochrome screen, Assembly-only, not intended as a learning tool, no export outside of the program, has its own special ISA, lack of asset creation toolset), who exactly is the target audience for this? If folks want to make games, they'll probably pick Pico-8 over this, as it has all the tools you need to make games and distribute them. Or PixelVision, if they want flexible "hardware", like the monochrome palette and a limited sound bank. If folks want to learn low-level stuff, t...

Feedback on the featurelist blurb

I've read your blurb with great interest and your project sounds promising, but it's missing an important feature, as it's not mentioned anywhere, it's unclear if it is or is not included with the Mnemonimov. It might me important to have the games be standalone in the end. As to what is the purpose of making a game in assembly, graphics and all, if you can't share it afterwards. So maybe this feature exists and just isn't mentioned or it doesn't exist and should be included....
