Stuck on 1.5

Fully upgraded and one always seems to wander no where and die. Is there some other lever I can pull to change things or do I have to keep restarting it until it goes?

I was hoping this would be more sandbox-y, but the progression is way too linear. It feels more like a puzzle with only a handful of levels tied together with the incremental mechanic.

Edit after the dev response:

I think the game is definitely made with love, the visuals are fleshed out and it is satisfying to play - just not what I expected after looking at the store page

Very cool setup for a short incremental. Just a bit short for the price.

Took me only 2.6 h to 100% this one though, so for me it is a tad overpriced. 1 eur/h ratio should be reached at the very least with this type of game, at least for me. If it took me any less time than that, the review would be negative. So very close one here.

Recommend on sale only for this reason. If there was a neutral option, I'd give that.

Best way to get the achievement I Need Food?

I like to 100% these kinds of games so I usually check out the achievement list before starting. Saw this one and it seems like it would be easiest at the beginning when you have the least food, am I wrong here? I'm having some problems but I figure if I can get enough guys then they will eat the food fast enough to die before time runs out....

OCD nitpicks

Very minor, absolutely irrelevant but triggering me on the inside things: -I really expected at some point a full zoom out to view the full table at once, or at least ability to move from one screen to another during a simulation, because why is there a drawing board and i cant interact with it when its the best time for it? -There are a lot of red herrings in stat parameters, i get that there's a bigger sense in reading everything, however something is missing: pear speed buff amount/duration and i feel ...
