Huge update of ROGOLF Demo

Hello everyone !

ROGOLF is coming out in less than 2 months !

Today marks and important date, as we have updated ROGOLF's Demo to the version 0.8.2.

This update brings a lot of quality of life improvements like:

overhauled art style
twice as many bonuses
new scoring system (with better balancing)
improved physics & performances (FPS are now uncapped)
global UX improvement

Also a new trailer has been revealed, announcing the release date: April 2, 2026.

zooming?

playing on m&k, the zooming prompt suggests that the input to zoom is some kind of 'up' input, only the up arrow does nothing, neither does w or the 8 on the numpad. scrolling the wheel doesn't work either, so not sure what input it wants to do this. i don't remember the demo being this weird from a camera positioning perspective? I also feel like you could move or reposition the camera in the demo? or I could be wrong, but, either way, I can't figure out the zooming input, and I tried to mash every key o...

ROGOLF planned for Steamdeck & SteamOS devices !

I just wanted to let players know that ROGOLF will be playable with the Steamdeck, on launch.

On SteamOS devices, ROGOLF will be fully playable with a controller and on the Steamdeck it will be playable either with the touchscreen or with the joystick and triggers.

The development of ROGOLF continues, with the goal to make the best minigolf-roguelite that we can.

Hello everyone !

ROGOLF has been revealed 3 months ago and I would like to thank everyone who tried the demo or who added ROGOLF to their wishlist !

Today marks and important date, as I've updated ROGOLF's Demo to the version 0.6.1.

This update brings a lot of quality of life improvements like:

better tutorial and intro

improved physics
new controls for controllers
previews of maps before playing (except the ones with the rule "Reduced visibility")
new maps and new bonuses
secondary music genre (Lo-Fi, on top of the existing "Synthwavy" tracks
saving a run

Also a huge thanks to everyone who posted playthrough of the demo on YouTube.

Very chill mini golf game with actual challenges. It feels very fun to sometime go against the "normal" way of playing to gain more points with the special cards which adds a lot of fun! would recommend if you like the genre and are open to fun little twists!

Having only local MP is sad.

I know networking is hard, but basically all the other GOOD minigolf games have online multiplayer. This COULD have been a good game, but alas, it will fail.

Is it Working?

Is the ball supposed to bounce down ramps instead of rolling? It basically never rolled smoothly down one and sometimes it made a sort of "50 rebound sounds playing in a second" sort of stuck sound. This made floor 2 very difficult, because instead of smoothly going up and a ramp and down the other side, it just got stuck partway up and then bounced a bunch on the way down....

lip physics busted?

I'm having a different issue at this point - just played a hole with lips/jumps that that ball would hit and get bounced the opposite direction... very weird...
