Hello everyone!

It’s time to go all out!🔥

We’ve just released an update, based on your feedback during Next Fest. This patch focuses on getting you into the gameplay faster, increasing the variety of runs, and giving you early access to key features of the game.

List of changes:

The tutorial has been significantly shortened and now lasts much less time – up to the first boss

Basic mechanics are now unlocked much earlier (for example, Astral Power, which allows you to flip the cube to any value)

Meta-progression between runs is now available right from the start of the game, allowing you to plan your strategy from the very first seconds.

Significantly more items and boons are unlocked from the outset for a more varied and unpredictable gaming experience

A unique visual style and distinct atmosphere have been added for each individual layer (act) of the game

If you enjoy the demo, please add Cheat Death to your wishlist. This directly improves our visibility in Steam’s algorithms and really helps the project on its way to release.

We’re delighted to announce that Cheat Death is officially taking part in Steam Next Fest, and our brand-new public demo is already waiting for you on the game’s page!

If you’ve been following our updates, you’ll know we’ve been working non-stop on the project. The game has been completely transformed, and this demo is the distilled and polished result of our evolution. You can look forward to intense one-on-one tabletop duels, where dice, dirty tricks and powerful upgrades will all come into play.

It’s a mystical roguelite game where every roll of the dice could save your soul or completely ruin your run. Death likes to play dirty, but it’s up to you to manipulate the results and try to cheat her.
