We can't thank everyone enough for downloading, playing, wishlisting, and reviewing the game so far. It means the world to us that DOOMTRAIN is out there and people are enjoying it!

We've taken copious notes from the Discord[discord.gg], live streams on Twitch, and YouTube and compiled some fixes and updates to address what we could. We've big plans for updates on DOOMTRAIN moving forward, so these are just the tip of the steam engine.

Patch Notes (2/26/26)

• Town

  • Added animal decorations

• Combat

  • Hazards/Defenses will now heal to full HP between waves

  • Increased visibility of mortar shots coming down from top of screen during active ability

  • Increased visiblity of mortar impact VFX

• UI

  • Changed current wave marker in combat UI to show incoming demon icons

  • Added green text tip to first combat to teach players about hovering lane arrow info

  • Fixed issue with wave end signal causing CPU spikes (performance increase)

• Building the Resistance: Grow your steampunk village and manage production chains. Your villagers are the backbone of the movement, generating the vital resources needed to supply the union's fight in the depths of DemonCorp.

• Unionizing Hell: Rescue Heroes from the corporate grind and use them to manipulate combat events in your favor.

We don't have shareholders, marketing committees, or "synergy consultants." We just have a small team of humans (and Dan) trying to make a game about smashing the system.
