SuprSketch 4.5.1 - The "Performance & Polish" Update

Hey everyone! We've been listening to your feedback and squashing some bugs that were driving us (and you) crazy. This update is all about making the app smoother, securer, and more reliable.

The Chat Window fix

The pop out chat window felt like it was 10fps when dragging it. Now it's butter smooth.

Buttons Actually Work After You Resize

This one was subtle but super annoying. If you resized the main window and then tried to close the settings or notifications drawer... nothing would happen. The buttons just were not clickable.

Buttons work at any window size now. This was our biggest bug users ran into.

We're on Mac Now! (Since 4.1.8)

If you missed it, SuprSketch is now available on macOS! Same features, same real-time wallpapers, works on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Full cross-platform support. It is not available on steam just yet, but accessible at our website.

Artist Protection Features

We take protecting artist content seriously. This update includes comprehensive security:

Helps track down art theft and unauthorized use

This isn't just about technology - it's about respecting the artists who make this platform possible.

No More Random Logouts

Fixed a critical bug where users were getting logged out after using the app for extended periods.

You should be able to keep the app running 24/7 without random "please log in again" surprises. We are monitoring still but this should be fixed.

SuprConnect YAY

Notifications:

You now will receive notifications to your computer if an artist starts creating! This makes it easy to never miss anything.

Auto-Connect:

Turn on the auto-connect lighting bolt for your favorite artist. Once a notification is sent to your computer that they are live, your computer wallpaper will auto connect to the artist canvas and their brush strokes will immediately paint your wallpaper.

Live Status(Creating):

Live status indicators will now show which artists are currently creating. Hurray, we can actively know who is creating and watch!

Live viewer count added:

We now show how many people are watching certain artists

Tons of bugs cleaned up as we prepare for our MacOS port of this APP!

Hey everyone!

We basically rebuilt the entire app over the last month. New SuprFeatures, SuprMassive performance improvements, and yes - we fixed everything that was SuprBroken too.

New SuprDOPE Features:

1. Instant Catch Up When You Join Artists

The app now auto-replays the last few strokes when you connect so you immediately see where they're at.

2. Pop-Out Chat Window

Chat can now pop out into its own window. Work on other stuff while chatting with artists.

3. Real-Time Thumbnail Updates

Artist thumbnails and profile pictures now update automatically when they change them. No more seeing stale cached images. Everything stays fresh.

4. Transparent background to app

There's a transparency toggle if you're into that whole futuristic floating window vibe. "I am" -SuprAaron

Performance Upgrades

1. Reconnections Are Absurdly Fast

10-100x faster reconnections
90-99% less network usage when you reconnect

2. UI Doesn't Freeze Anymore

UI is 20-30x faster (was freezing for 350-600ms, now barely 10-20ms)
Total processing is 7-12x faster

3. Artwork Loads 100x Faster

Result compared to previous version: 100 times faster (not a typo). What took 8+ seconds now takes less than 0.1 seconds.

Image Quality Upgrade

Perfect color accuracy with proper transparency
Zero compression artifacts (what the artist creates is exactly what you see)

Bug Fixes:

1. Fixed App Doesn't Stop Rendering After 15 Minutes

2. Fixed System Tray Click Actually Works

3. Fixed No More Random Logouts

4. Fixed looping renders
