I wonder if the main character is a male or a female. Can we choose at the start of the game like Resident Evil 2 ? Please let us choose.

When can we expect the game? Not sure if this a real game or not as it is coming out of nowhere, i do hope i am wrong and we will actually see it, but we have devs who teased games to only pull them, see the day before. So please do not take this as me being negative....
