Demo Update (v1.1.3)

In this update, I've:

Fixed spacing issues in some of the icons in case 1
Cleaned up some of the doodles in the rule-book to make text more legible
Made a rule in the board game puzzle clearer
Cleo's comments in the rule-book give a few more hints
Made it a bit clearer that the board game puzzle can be skipped
Added a sticky-note in the Solve section of case 2
Added another clue in the to-do list in case 3
Changed a minor character's name to avoid confusion in case 3
Fixed some spacing issues in one of the newspaper articles
Added sound effects to the notepad
Added an option to skip to the end when repeating a conversation

It's definitely been added to my wish list and I cannot wait for the full game to come out. My thoughts and opinions on what I've seen thus far contain mine and the opinions of my 14 and 12 year old's as well. Demo Update (v1.1.2)

I've been getting some great feedback from people filling in the form, those here in the community, and elsewhere. This is a small update to address some of the issues. I've:

-Fixed a bug in the notepad

-Fixed typos

-Fixed some of the art in the rulebook, made it clearer what turn pawns are on

-Made Cleo's comments in the rulebook more pointed

-Added more relevant hints in case 2 and 3

-Added more clues about one of the articles in case 3

Feedback about case 2

Recently I retried case 2 on stream and managed to beat it, and since it's become a little bit of an infamous case, I figured I'd chime in with some assorted thoughts. Spoilers ahead. I *think* the last time I'd played, the intermediate goals weren't a thing yet, and they're a nice addition, letting you slowly check off information even while the big picture remains very vague. Demo feedback!

Hello! I played through the demo and I thought I'd offer some feedback. Overall I thought it was very promising! I like the artstyle and I like the framing device of Cleo talking about her life as well. I also like the variety in presentation of clues - talk to someone, examine some items, search for keywords in newspaper, etc. I've struggled with a few puzzles and I'm not sure if it was me being dumb (I am not brilliant, but I did beat both Golden Idol games without looking stuff up) or them being a bi...

Liked everything about this game, except for 1 (critical to me) thing

Artwork, progression, attention to details, all nicely done. But then I hit a "not quite right, try again" kind of response later in the demo and thought "there can only be a couple of logical choices, and mine's incorrect, so... it must be this other one"; however, I know choices will get more options as we move along, and there doesn't seem to be a hint system... so the possibility of getting stuck is a dealbreaker for me. To those who don't mind "looking up" stuff to find answers, this looks like a ni...

can you add instant text display to dialog? not everybody likes the annoying typewriter effect and extra clicking to make sentences appear instantly.
