Patch v1.0.16: Connection Fixes & Display Improvements

Hello Detectives, patch v1.0.16 is now live!

This update focuses on fixing connection stability and text display anomalies. Here are the highlights:

System & Connection Stability
- Fixed Infinite Loading: Optimized network connection logic. The game will now show a prompt instead of freezing on the loading screen if the connection is blocked.
Text & UI Adjustments
- Font Display Fixes: Resolved issues with garbled text in Western languages, incorrect hint displays, excessive character spacing (kerning), and punctuation errors.
- Dialogue Box Adjustments: Fixed issues where text inside dialogue boxes was clipped or cut off.
- "Custom Cases" Page Adjustments: Improved the layout of the "Custom Cases" page (including scrollbars and consistent font sizes).

How to get past crashed load menu / chinese... Plus early review

For those saying it doesn't work / not English: 1 - the game crashes on first load, and also loads in chineese. To fix this, click the menus (despite being chineese) until the crash, then press Alt F4... 2 - run it a second time, then it will load. There's a settings cog, press it, now it's easy to change the language (there's only 2 text options to choose from). 3 - once in English, the game works. Hello Detectives, update v1.0.15 is now live!

This patch focuses on improving usability and system stability:

AI Logic Optimization
- We have optimized some AI logic parameters. The AI's ability to identify "critical clues" has been strengthened.
  Dev Note: AI logic optimization is an ongoing iterative process, and we will continue to make step-by-step adjustments and improvements.
Bug Reporting Tool Improvement
- We have streamlined the in-game bug reporting mechanism. It is now simpler and clearer to report issues from any page. Please feel free to let us know if you encounter any problems!
UI & Visual Adjustments

Patch v1.0.12: Language Detection & UI Fixes

Hi everyone, we have just released a hotfix to address the following issues:

Language Detection Fix: Fixed an issue where the game incorrectly defaulted to Chinese upon launch. The game will now correctly detect and apply your device's system language settings.
UI Adjustments: Fixed minor UI layout glitches.

Some issues

As others have mentioned, the game doesn't try to choose the correct language. I had to click through some menus and dialogs at random to get to the settings menu. Mouse scrolling doesn't work if the mouse cursor is over a text box or to the left of the text area. It would be more convenient to be able to use PgDn/PgUp and to be able to start typing without having to mouse-click on the input field. Perhaps the Up/Down arrows should scroll through all the previous questions, not just bring up the last one...

I believe something might have gone wrong with the AI host. It replies "Irrelevant" to every question, and I see placeholders instead of hints: https://i.imgur.com/MNbhggW.jpeg. I was able to play through several puzzles without any issues earlier.

can't play

first of all it launched in some asian language (i already forgot o_o"), but i managed to get it in english, i went to the first "soup" and typed something, i was never able to send it, so i changed my "soup" and the previous text i typed was still in there, i couldn't change nor delete it, so i guess it's unplayable...
