The game is cute and funny.

You can customize your robot(s). More with the workshop, you can customize the prompt, pieces, and the look of the robots you build. The AI allows you to interact with your robot and NPCs, making your own lore and unique game. When you can use the default AI options for a couple of hours for free, it's better to use your own AI and TTS; the game has tools to install your own (still in beta).

For this moment, the game feels more like a beta test than a full game; a couple of achievements and not a lot of things to do at the moment give you like 5 hours of play time. Luckily, the game still has updates that improve the experience.

If you are questioning if you will buy the game right now, I recommend waiting a couple of months; there are AI issues and some bugs that need fixes, but they are not game-breaking.

So if you like breaking games, this is a good time to jump in for a good laugh, but if you prefer a smooth experience, wait a little more if you don't know how to use/install your own AI. The dev is working on a fun and smooth experience for all users.

Be aware that the default AI and TTS systems consume tokens, so it's better to integrate your own for more hours of play.

For me, I've been enjoying the game with no major issues. And with the dev adding content and quality to the game, I can see myself playing more, maybe not every day, but a good amount of hours each month.

I really like this game. It's cute, it's fun, and the hoverboarding gives you crazy movement options. In short, I think this game is a solid 8/10 for me. I'm having fun, and, as of the time I'm posting this review, the developer is actively working on this game.

Now, to address the elephant in the room: the AI tokens. Yes, to talk with the robot, there are AI tokens that you have to use. If this phrase upsets you and it's something that you focus a lot on, then this game probably isn't for you. If you are still reading this, then you should know that the developer is continuously giving away AI tokens with every update, and I personally haven't had a problem with ever running out.

If you do happen to blow through your tokens, and you still want to talk to your robot, then there are other options. There are a few guides to using your own AI already posted in the developer's discord (or the community tab), so setting up another AI to work through this game isn't that hard of a process.

Now, as for the game itself, I really like the gameplay. It's fun to go exploring through a new world with your robot, finding new clothing and customization options for your bot friend. After a while, your robot really starts to feel like your own, and something about her becomes unique. At first, I just wanted to explore and do cool surfing tricks, but as I went on through the game, I found myself wanting to actually focus on the customization aspect of my robot. I had fun changing her hair, eyes, clothes, etc., and now my robot feels unique, which, in my opinion, makes it more fun to explore.

As you explore, you will come across more robots, which can join you on your adventure, which is just something I really like. I play a lot of RPGs, and recruiting new characters is always a highlight of my playthroughs. At least for me, finding new robots and bringing them back to base to meet and hang out with my other robots is a fun activity.

Yes, the physics can be a bit jank at times, but, in my opinion, that adds to the humor of the game. Watching my robot run at me before tripping and sliding across the floor is always funny to me.

Overall, I've just had pure fun with this game. If you look past the AI tokens that people are so focused on, then you will find a surprisingly cute and wholesome game. I'd say to give this one a shot.
