Out of the three Chronicles games this one is probably the weakest, which is sad because the concept of Anastasia having her memories merged with those of Shao Jun is an interesting story plot, but the gameplay doesn't really reflect that (i.e. there are no sections where you are clearly Anastasia and sections where you are clearly Shao Jun and you have to behave as such). The color palette of this game is very dull, and even though I understand the artistic decision given the background of the game (Russian Revolution) the dark tone doesn't make for the nicest color palette. Again, a few nice new mechanics that felt underutilized in that you almost forget they are there at times. Finally, some of the puzzles in the later levels have such tight timing that it is almost tedious to try and pull it off, which makes going for all achievements a bit annoying. Other than that, still a fun game to play for about 20-30 hours.
