Hey guys!🫧🐠 I hope you are ready, because this update is full of new exciting stuff!

First of all, let's check out:

We have a bunch of redesigns going on, starting with the Main Menu! It is now set in a fully 3D space, where each option is represented by a real object on the desk. The idea came from playing Kirby Air Riders; I loved that main menu so much I wanted to create a similar feeling here.

I can finally give you a closer look at the new UI, designed by the awesome ABUR! The taskbar resembles the old MacOS style (reflections and all), while the windows have a modern "liquid glass" effect, which we think really adds to the whole jelly vibe. We spent quite a while perfecting this version, but if you have any feedback or ideas on how to make it look even better, feel free to leave a comment below!

We have also updated the WIM! As you can see in the preview below, it has a lot more functionality than the previous version that the OGs might remember from the first Playtest.

Regarding the map update, since I truly love the aesthetic of beach levels from early 2000s games, I had to include a tribute to them. I am also really happy that I finally managed to get a nice lens flare effect working! I have settled on the name Dorfin Bay for this Aqua Realm. The name comes from dolphins, which are called "Dorfins" in this world. Keep in mind that this is only one part of the area; there is also an underwater section with coral reefs and a small city coming later.

I have added a new system for chatting. Now, when you type, your character plays a thinking animation, and a bubble appears over their head. The Webiies actually talk now (this sound will be customizable in the future), and if you type specific words, they will play special animations! Fun fact: If you write a message IN ALL CAPS, your character will actually shout, which you can see in the video below.
