Earlier this week it was brought to our attention that many users are unable to launch the game after updating to the Deluxe Edition. We take issues like this extremely seriously, and we deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are currently working with the developers to release an update fixing this issue, but for the time being, we have investigated the problem and found a solution.

This update requires that your "Language for non-Unicode programs" be set to Japanese.

To locate this setting in Windows 10, go to Settings > Time & Language > Language > Administrative language settings > Change system locale

In Windows 11, go to Settings > Time & Language > Language and region > Administrative language settings > Change system locale

After changing your "Language for non-Unicode programs" to Japanese, you should be able to launch the game. We understand that this is not an ideal solution, and are currently working to fix it permanently. However, we hope that this will allow you to enjoy playing the Deluxe Edition of Train Molester in the meantime.
