The VIVE Cosmos Elite Headset pairs the performance of external tracking alongside the flexibility of the VIVE Cosmos platform to meet the needs of the most demanding VR entertainment fans. All VIVE Cosmos headsets include the same excellent visuals (2880 x 1700 combined pixel resolution) and comfort features—including an innovative, flip-up design that can take you to and from virtual worlds in a snap.

Retailing for $549, the headset-only option (for existing VIVE owners with base stations and VIVE controllers) will have a pre-installed VIVE Cosmos External Tracking Faceplate. The headset also includes Half-Life: Alyx and a six-month VIVEPORT Infinity membership. The VIVE Cosmos External Tracking Faceplate—retailing for $199 as an upgrade accessory for VIVE Cosmos—can be used with base station versions 1.0 or 2.0, along with the original VIVE or VIVE Pro controllers. Easily swap it with the original inside-out tracking faceplate that ships with VIVE Cosmos.

VIVE Cosmos Elite headset will begin to ship starting in April with the on-sale date varying by region. The VIVE Cosmos External Tracking Faceplate will globally launch later in Q2. We are releasing to markets as quickly as we can, based on demand and supply chain challenges associated with the ongoing health crisis.
