The x-mas trees are gone, but there are new, better, curvy trees. They come with an associated upgrade that lets you increase the duration of their positive effects.

There are also destructible rocks in the levels now. Who knows what you might find under them?

In addition to that, there are 5 new ablities and an upgrade to unlock a third ability slot enabled in the demo, making a lot more builds viable.

In addition to that, I tweaked the difficulty of the beginning of a run. There are not a few more easier enemies and they drop more XP. So you should be able to level up more consistently.

Other changes:

Added an option to turn the single-fire abilities into auto-fire abilities.
Added an option to toggle instead of hold for firing abilities.
Linux build for itch.
Increased web-build default viewport height from 720 to 800.
Enemies should get stuck less often.

Game feels so unfair.

- When the game starts when you're at your weakest, the game shouldn't be spawning in home seeking missile wielding enemies and enemies with incredible accuracy. That's so unfair. The god awful gun you get at the start is just too weak and inaccurate to deal with enemies like these. Also the enemies tracking is downright unfair and broken. - The missile you get sucks, doing barely any damage, having poor tracking from the start, and for some odd reason when you click to use it, it needs to jump so far to...

There are trees everywhere in this holiday special!

Did you know that collecting the orbs can give you awesome powers, such as:

Unfathomable luck with coin drops
Indestructability
QUAD DAMAGE

There are also some minor changes/fixes:

Fixed meta-progression showing unlocks not enabled in the demo.
Added some base magnetism

In the background, I am working on additional level generator styles for the full game.

Option to have toggled auto-fire

I feel like any game where more often than not you are incentivized to just have the trigger button held down, there should be the option to have it so pressing trigger once causes you to fire continuously until you press trigger again. My index finger isn't what is used to be, so I appreciate not having to needlessly fatigue it, and while you can usually get a toggled auto-fire to work in most games using steam custom configs, steam can be weirdly annoying about getting that set. Though another approach...
