Big fan of Eggcode, so I bought this game on day one. However, my recommendation is to wait a bit before buying it during this early access period. The tutorial is not the best, to be honest, after it finishes, I’m really lost on what to do next.

The whole elevator system is a bit annoying as well. I’m not a big fan of how we can’t just move the camera around to click on the room we want to go to.

I am willing to change my review from negative to positive if I see updates that at least fix the tutorial, because this game has potential and I really want to enjoy it.

This game is mostly what we expect from Eggcode games
There are many problems with the game but it's day 1 of early access, people seem to forget that Mad Games Tycoon 2 had issues on launch too, and so do most games

There is a huge issue with the performance of the game and it using 100% of the GPU but the developer has stated they are working on it (this is what worried me when the developer said they were switching from Unity to Unreal Engine 5)

The game has a nice art style, it's an interesting premise, I would say it's more about managing your TV station than it is about making your own TV shows, although that can be unlocked from a license
There is clearly a lot of work put into the game

Its a very good! As you can tell from my absurd hours already, I bought this masterpiece at launch (sat here at 7 am waiting for it) and it like every eggcode game is a gem. What is an EggCode game? Essentially they take decent tycoon/management games from across the years and finish them. Are they 100% original ideas, no, are they better than the original, 100%. Mad Games 2 is just better Game Dev, this is just better Empire TV and MadTV which are like 10+ years old now. Its a good price for essentially a more complete/feature rich version of other titles and MULTIPLAYER. Such a huge sell as this game is amazing with friends. Already had to ban a strat (using satellites to push Telemarketing lol) its competitive co-op essentially. Sure your competing for the same series and movies (and I think viewers that might not be working as intended) but this isnt monopoly, theirs space for everyone. Normally when we call winners its just because everyone has reached the end of the game and wants to try something new, rather than quitting because we were killed off. Fun, casual, multiplayer experience.

I will say, QoLs will be welcome, particularly the ability to copy the program schedule from day to day. As I typically run the same series at the same time every day. But it's EA so not a deal breaker and really not that big of a hassle.

Overall 9/10 20$ EA release, for the same price as the Eastern European copy&paste AI tycoon trash that floods the space, yea def worth it. Also check out mad games tycoon 2 if you havent, its still my favorite of the 2, but it also was supported for many years and has a sketchy russian google drive mod thats super fun.
