Forsworn x Next Fest — come break my demo!

Hello fellow adventurers!

Forsworn is officially part of Steam Next Fest, which means from June 15 to June 22 there's an updated and free demo waiting for you, and I'd love nothing more than for you to annihilate enemies with your broken builds.

If you're new here: Forsworn is a solo or co-op roguelite turn-based tactical RPG, built around the feeling you get when a run finally comes together and you realize the combo you’ve been building is game unstoppable.

Experiment with 7 hero classes with their own subclasses, turn-based combat inspired from BG3 and Divinity Original Sin 2, and an itemization system I packed with game breaking synergies.

Demo & more

The demo drops you into the full first Act so you can get a feel for the combat, experiment, and defeat the first Act boss with builds you can't stop thinking about.

And if you’re craving for more, join my Discord[discord.gg]! I’m looking for some more playtesters to experience the entire beta version of the game.

Forsworn launches September 17, 2026. If you enjoyed the demo, hitting that Wishlist button is the biggest favor you can do for an indie solo dev.

One of the better games this Next Fest

I've been through a dozen or so games this next fest, and this is probably the one that I'm most likely to purchase. Definitely worth a look from people. I did encounter a bug at the end of the demo where one of the selections was overlapped on another selection, and I couldn't read what I was selecting. But otherwise, this is pretty solid....

Demo Update for #TurnBasedThursdayFest

Get ready for #TurnBasedThursdayFest!

We're thrilled to be taking part of #TurnBasedThursdayFest 2026, starting this Monday March 9th. Be sure to check out all the great games during this weeklong festival showcasing and celebrating turn-based games.

In anticipation of the upcoming event, we've made huge improvements to the game - bug fixes, QoL improvements, and new content. Most notably:

45 new items to push your builds even further
2 new Soul Shard Bonuses to strengthen your heroes
Improved UI to better asses enemies and threats
Added the much requested Auto-loot option
Faster game speed, which can be found under Options
Rest Sites can now be used to alter abilities
Re-rolling item stock at merchants
Re-worked Stealth mechanic

10/10 will die to elite Soul Reaper again

Really fun demo. Looking forward to the full game! Wishlisted. Action is fast paced already, great default speed. Please add a animation speed / combat speed option too though so we can play super fast. Camera went crazy when I clicked on portraits during enemy movement. Didn't notice any major bugs. Quality software. Great work devs...

Enchanted Diamond / Question

You have 48 Gold. You are on a 3 BATTLE mission map. You have Enchanted Diamond. Dose the 1 damage buff kick in at? .... 1. While you are in that battle, you pick up 7 gold you now have 55 gold. Will it change to +1 damage here? Or 2. You finished the battle. Will it change to +1 damage here? Or 3. You finished the mission. Will it change to +1 damage here? GREAT GAME!!!

Awesome game, couple of suggestions

Nicely done, I am enjoying the demo immensely! The game is pretty hard (which I love) in the later encounters, I still wasn't able to kill the boss even on normal difficulty, but Ill keep on trying. If it is of any help to you, Ill list couple of suggestions I collected during my first 6 hours of playing. Regardless of what you do with those suggestions, I'm looking forward to the full game release and Ill buy it the Day 1 :-). RESPEC / SOUL SAT

I LOVE this GAME : ) I have over 70 hours and I can see easily spending a 1000 more : ) I have found that, by time I got my crew to level 10, I have put MOST of my SOUL POINTS in the WRONG area : ( PLEASE put a RESPEC in the Hall of Souls. I feel l am starting at level 1, now that I understand the game functions better. I HOPE all this will carry over to the full GAME. I love the randomness of skills we have to pick from. This makes each run fill different. When you add ACT 2 PLEASE add skill REMOVAL....
