Introduced a height penalty for gun handling when not using a bipod. This penalty makes recoil worse if the ratio of gun length to your height is greater than 75%, and is now listed in the item info panel when you look at the gun. This does not affect accuracy, only how much of your aim bar you lose when you fire or move around. For most characters, there will only be a very small penalty and then only on the very biggest guns.

You cannot fire a ranged weapon if you are too small. If the length of a gun or bow exceeds 130% of your height, you need a bipod or a turret mount to use it at all.

You cannot play football for Notre Dame if you are too small. I don't care if you have heart, Rudy. Get out of here. Go home!!

Renamed the "piercing" crafting subcategory to "stabbing". Moved the sword bayonet to it. Moved Kevlar leggings from the arms section to the legs section.

Backported some updates to passive item conversion, making some more items like adobe bricks and koji rice handle transforming on their own.

Tainted bone is now made of bone, so you can burn it into charcoal.

Making cream out of milk now properly produces a single rising cream jar and not like fifty of them.

Greatly reduced the incidence of 3L jars in the world. There are still too many, but it's a start.

Fixed an issue where dissection was yielding as much meat, hide etc. as full butchery. It now yields 1/10th the meat, no skin, and 1/3 the bone and organs of full butchery. Dissection is meant to be VERY destructive to the corpse as you're digging around in it for tiny implants and testing how it resists different kinds of attacks all over.

Impale-type techniques such as Barbaran Montante's Impaling Estocada weren't working properly. Now they are, though I removed their ability to do lateral hits. You can impale only directly behind your primary target, and only then along cardinal directions.

Melee AOE techniques now only deal 50% damage on their extra attacks.

Cell phones and smartphones with their flashlights on will once again appear as yellow (or whatever your active color is) in your inventory.

Overhauled the way barefootedness works. You are now only penalized for going barefoot on terrain which is not totally flat (roads, wood floors) or carpeted. This penalty is only applied if you are not wearing something rigid on your soles, though some soft shoes (e.g. moccasins) are treated as rigid for this purpose, and integrated items gained via mutations are also counted, meaning several armor mutations now grant tough feet by themselves.. Socks and footwraps are insufficient for walking around in the woods, and will not prevent this penalty.

Fixed a lot of instances where the above penalty was being applied at times when it did not make sense.

Removed the padding from the soles of most shoes. In real life, most shoes are meant to be worn with socks, and will be uncomfortable if you do not have any, especially when walking over very long distances. Slip-on shoes, sandals, etc. which are not meant to be worn with socks are exempted from this discomfort.

Greatly reduced the warmth of sneakers and sneaker-adjacent shoes.

Fixed the name of fur moccassins.

Fixed the power situation for advanced AR glasses and LED strips.

Added forest floor tiles for the MSX tileset. These have seasonal variations and should make woods look a bit more woodsy.

Dead grass now looks a bit deader.

Raised base stats for NPCs by 2, which should make random NPCs feel like they're in the same ballpark as the player statwise, instead of all being a bunch of wimps.

Added a supermarket. This location is usually occupied by a large number of feral humans and possibly cockroaches, but might contain enough unlooted food to be worth a visit.

Fixed an issue with turrets, searchlights, and other supposedly immobile monsters moving around whenever you weren't looking like this is Toy Story or something.

Fixed an issue with tied animals wandering off when you were away.

It is no longer possible to grab and drag tied or immobile creatures with grappling or with special attacks like the Batrachian tongue.

Solar panels can no longer be installed/uninstalled for infinite fasteners.

Eater of the Dead now decreases negative enjoyability of tainted food by 75%, allowing those mtants who have it to (probably) eat zombie meat without getting nauseous.

Removed the SMELLS flag from a ton of monsters should not have had it, like feral humans and giant spiders. This flag is for creatures like dogs and advanced zombies that can follow scent trails.

Added the SMELLS flag or scent tracking groups to a few creatures which should have had it but didn't, particularly cockroaches and ants.

Reverted a recent DDA backport that attempted to update the way gun stats are displayed in the item info panel. This update would have been welcome, but it was formatted badly and it turned out to be very difficult to fix.

Removed all the dead code related to the rideable mech monsters, which have not existed in TLG for a very long time.
