Playing on parallels on an M2 Macbook. 99% of steam games run seamlessly. This game literally stalls my entire machine. A lot of work to be done before this is a viable product. A lot of optimization to start.

The existing card mechanics are interesting and seem well done, but lacking another layer of power (like passive relics or combining/upgrading individual cards or upgrading the shop to get rarer cards) makes the game feel more shallow than it should be for a roguelike. Many links can't be used together, so the entirety of a build is 2-3 links. Once you have that then the gameplay and power fantasy plateaus, instead of continuing to ramp up.
