Final beta test & Dev update

Hi! Your Crown is Mine has finished development and is now going through final testing and bug fixes. I hope to catch most of the issues now, though the game may still be updated after release. Here's some news about the game:

Possible DLC

Some items such as the artbook and wallpaper set will be available as paid DLC later on Steam. If there’s enough interest, side stories or extra content might be developed someday too!

Final beta test

We’re doing some final testing before the game’s full release. If you’re interested in getting a game key now and help send feedback/bug reports, email me at https://Lyyycaena@gmail.com about beta testing. There are already some known bugs/issues that’ll be fixed soon. The game build for the beta version is close to final, though it still has bugs and the public release will be more polished.

Development update

The full game covers 72 in-game days plus epilogue scenes (the free demo only has the first 17 days).

Some side characters were added, along with a short scene for every Full Ending. I wanted to add even more dialogue options and event variations, but scope creep is very real and I couldn't add everything I wanted. I'll consider adding more as a future update or DLC if there's enough interest from players.

When I started this project, I wanted to make the game that characters from otome isekai manga/manhwa get reincarnated to. They usually include stock characters like a heroine, villainess and cold duke, but I tried to break down and subvert some of those tropes in my game. This genre’s story is a mix of fantasy scheming/politics and romance, which was fun to write.

If you'd like to support this game, wishlists and follows help a lot! You could also share the game online or tell your friends about it. This is my first real game and I'm a solo dev/artist, so I didn't know what to expect, but I'm happy that thousands of people have wishlisted my game already! :D

What’s next

I’ll finish fixing bugs/issues then release the full game in Q2 2026. As mentioned above, there may be future updates and DLC post-release. I'm not sure about localisation/translation yet.

I’ve started some work on my next game, a dystopian psychological horror called Mermaids are Seafood. I’ve always been into horror novels and movies, so I’m really looking forward to this one. There will be management-simulation gameplay plus character-driven stories. If you're interested, you can wishlist and join the free playtest on Steam.

Kickstarter 400% funded! Ends on 7th January

1. Kickstarter update: ending soon

"Your Crown is Mine" has launched a Kickstarter that is now over 400% funded! Thank you for your support! Your help will improve the game and add more content to it. There are a few days left to join as it ends on the 7th of January. Support the Kickstarter here.

Kickstarter rewards include exclusive art, a walkthrough guide, artbook with concept art, early access keys, bonus content and more.

2. Game dev update & what's next

Most of the game's development has finished. The next steps are to do QA, testing, fix bugs, and make improvements. I'm thinking about adding localisations and voice acting (nothing finalised yet right now). Your Crown is Mine is the first full game I've made, so I know it's not perfect.

I started developing this game 1 year ago, balancing my time with my school studies and exams. The whole process was sometimes tough but I learned a lot and it was very fun. I hope that someday I can create bigger, better projects with a bigger team, since it's quite constraining being the only developer/artist/writer as I am right now. I will need to find funding and other team members so that's more of a long-term goal for me.

3. My next game

My next game has a Steam page up to get feedback from players about the concept. It's called Mermaids are Seafood and you can find it on my developer page (or just search it on Steam). Feel free to wishlist the game if you like it! Again, feedback/comments are appreciated.

Hi, "Your Crown is Mine" has just launched a Kickstarter. Your help will improve the game and add more content to it. Support the Kickstarter here!

The full game will have 15-20+ hours gameplay per playthrough, and over 10 endings! There are political sim aspects, 10+ daily activities, and 4 love interests (both men and women).

If you support the Kickstarter, you’ll get rewards such as character portraits, messages, wallpapers, a walkthrough guide, artbook with concept art, extra exclusive art/comics, early access keys, and more! After we hit the basic funding amount, stretch goals will unlock bonuses for all backers, such as extra romance scenes and comics. Backers can vote for what the extra content will be about.
