Long time no talk. We've been hard at work tweaking, updating and adding more features to The Economic West in order to make it the best that it can be. We are going to try to do a weekly dev. log with updates or any changes that are made to the current build of the game. There is a fully playable version of the game coming live to you soon, but just a heads up some stuff is currently broken, namely the character creator that we are working on.... so pardon our dust while we finish that up. We want to get the game out so you all can play it ASAP, but want everything to be as flawless as it can be for the first experience.

While we wait for that to come, I wanted to share some updates and screenshots!

• We have fleshed out more of the "survival systems" which includes managing food, water and temperature.

  

• We have added more quests/ missions that help you get your feet off the ground in the West. Along with a few more "hidden" quests.

• We have made a more realistic and dynamic weather system, still working on the environment interactions with the weather system, but the core of it is there.

• Currently the building system still needs improvement with snapping and other misc. things, like buildings placed not removing the foliage underneath. Temporary work around is I have some prefab buildings that are enabled right now that have some height to them and stairs to get up. Free building will come once we figure that out.

• We have added a map and mini map that will continue to grow. In the map and minimap we have a fog that is over the map and as you explore it will remove the fog. This can change in playtesting just like any other features.

• Multiple changes done to the backend of the multiplayer/ lobby system which will make the game more stable.

And many more changes to core systems that we are excited to share with everyone!
