A young couple are missing; from the details you were provided when you were hired to find them it seems they were hiking somewhere remote and could have simply gotten lost...

But there’s something about Mount Hillthorn and the people who live there that keep raising questions in your mind, too many unsettling questions...

What has happened to this young couple, and do you have what it takes to find them?

Hillthorn is an eerie detective game with an engaging and exciting story told entirely through cards. Using the cards provided you need to investigate and explore finding more clues and pieces of information that will help you progress towards your goal. Use the information you uncover, the locations you can explore and the people you can talk with to solve this case that is anything but a simple disappearance...

Controller Support

Can now navigate menus using a controller
Dpad can be used to select and move cards.
Selected cards will now be displayed on top of others
Input prompts will automatically change to the controller you're using.

Suggestion for the gameplay

The game is so interesting. I really enjoy the mechanics!! Just a little suggestion for the gameplay : when i replace a card with another it would be cool if they could exchange automatically their place in the board, so that the board keeps being organized cause atm the card you replace just goes at the top of the board and on the second plan if there already is a card here. That's the only thing that bothers me while playing, the rest is great !...

To solve the case, you will have to combine clues, verbs and concepts to gather evidence. There's no prose or dialogue : Instead you'll have to use your intuition and imagination to uncover the mystery.

Question about time mechanic

Hey devs! I really enjoyed this demo. I thought the card investigation mechanic felt really unique and was surprisingly intuitive. I do have a question about the time mechanic! I noticed the clock moved as I took actions, with the ticking getting louder as I progressed, so out of curiosity after I finished the demo I moved the clock to midnight to see what happened and as far as I could tell it either took me back to the beginning of the day or took me to the next day. Is the mystery supposed to be solve...
