We want to sincerely apologize for the whole situation surrounding the launch of Set a Watch: Digital Edition. The demo build was mistakenly published as the paid version of the game and players ended up buying something that did not reflect the full experience. The proper version is live, and everyone who owns the game has access to the complete content.

We also would like to clarify a few other changes. The card background has been updated and now uses visuals from the physical board game. The project no longer includes any AI-generated content. In addition, the achievement system has been corrected and is now working properly.

We’re grateful to everyone who spoke up quickly and gave us the opportunity to fix things as fast as we could.

I cant beat this game

even on lower difficulty levels, i just get wipe out at the last location, any tips?

Set a Watch: Digital Edition - Steam full release date change

We owe you a straightforward explanation. Set a Watch: Digital Edition didn’t launch when we said it would, and that’s on us. We set a timeline we ultimately couldn’t meet, and we didn’t communicate the delay when we should have. For that, we are sincerely sorry.

The main reason for the postponement is that the game just isn’t where it needs to be yet. There are still areas that feel rough, and releasing it as is would have left the experience feeling incomplete. On top of that, a few team members fell ill during this stretch, which slowed development down more than we expected. Even so, we should have kept you updated sooner.

We’re now aiming for a late January 2026 launch window. We’ll share the exact date once we’re 100% confident in it, since we don’t want to repeat the mistake of promising a release we cannot deliver.

For now, the demo is still available, and you can check out the mobile version ahead of the official Steam release. Thank you for your patience and for sticking with us through this delay. We know some of you organized your schedules around the original date and were excited for the launch. You deserved clearer communication from us, and we’re committed to earning back that trust through both our updates and the final product. Our true apologies once again.

Achievement "Mano a Mano" not triggered

I have killed several UNhallowed by now by using only dice, no abilities, but the achievement didn't trigger. Bug?

Swords of the Coin Expansion

Some people are finding this too difficult and yes it can be pretty brutal and challenging. I think if you all added the Swords of the Coin expansion or maybe just the Merchant mechanic from the expansion to the game it may help. Sometimes those merchant items can turn the tide of the battle!...

Why was AI used when there's already art from the boardgame?

Set a Watch: Digital Edition uses generative artificial intelligence in a limited, cosmetic way. The pattern on the back of all cards was illustrated using AI as a visual design tool.
