Ahoy there, sea dogs!

Want to hear another grim tale that reeks of tarred planks and salty sea winds? This legend chills the blood even of the most weathered pirates.

They say that if you spot an especially thick greenish fog gathering over the water, all you can do is pray for the salvation of your soul. Grab your prayer books and any charms you’ve got, ’cause nothing else will help.

First, through the swirling mist you’ll see the faint outlines of a ship: a broken bow, torn lifeless sails, ropes covered in mold and barnacles. It’ll drift toward you, slow and silent, until you come face to face with a terrifying ghostly skeleton standing at the helm of this dreadful vessel.

This is the spirit of vengeance of the great Lord Darkbown, cursed by a powerful shaman from one of the islands. Now he’s doomed to wander the seas with no chance to set foot on land. Do you have enough courage—or madness—to accept his aid and seize mighty otherworldly power?

Summon ghosts that will fly from enemy to enemy and strike them.

By taking Darkbown’s blessing, your ship will become the most toxic vessel in the Sea of Time. Its abilities revolve around poison that makes foes literally melt before your eyes.

Or become a ghost yourself and glide through enemies, dealing damage as you pass.

Cant hit Accept on terms after scrolling down

Title, can't seem to be able to hit Accept on the initial terms & conditions page. Scrolled all the way down, used keyboard and controller to see if a key press registered, win+shift+arrow keys to try throwing it to another monitor to see if it fixed the click registering and the window did not move. I can see the button change colors once fully scrolled down, not sure why it's not registering input on my end....

Mystical islands brimming with secrets await you, along with furious sea battles to the thunder of cannons and the roar of deep-sea monsters, clashes with cursed captains, and fateful encounters with loyal companions.

New Pickups, Balance Tweaks, and a Shipload of Visual Upgrades

Ahoy there, sea dogs!

We’ve gathered your feedback, analyzed hundreds of voyages—and quite a few parrot-related deaths. Today, we’re releasing a major update for the Curse of Pirates demo. Without further ado, here’s what’s new:

Balance adjustments, especially at the start of a voyage.
New pickups — special items that can drop from enemies and grant temporary bonuses.
Improved totem system — it’s now clearer and safer, so you won’t accidentally grab a debuff instead of a buff.
Visual upgrade for your ship — it’s now displayed from multiple angles. Not only does it look great, but it also gives a better sense of control at the helm.

Manual fire mode — toggle it in settings if you prefer aiming and shooting on your own.
Astrid, Darkbone, and Zar'kul are now waiting for you in the hub to chat between voyages.
A brand-new adventure map, freshly drawn and full of pirate charm.

And of course, countless smaller tweaks and visual improvements — especially better readability for attacks and effects.

Key bindings not working

Hello, so I downloaded and installed the demo today, it launches fine but then whenever I get near something it shows that I need to press "Y" however that doesnt do anything. I tried to change the key bindings in the controls but I cant do that either. So you guys may wana have a look at that. Thanks...

BUG REPORTS Found a bug, and reloading the game does not help? Please provide the following information: 1. A detailed description of steps that lead to the bug. Example: “I’ve completed the first level and entered the Upgrades menu. I selected a +Vitality perk on my Mage, but the Enhance button does not work.
