🤗 Great to see you again, Painters!

We are happy to announce that our Discord[discord.gg] server launch went really well, thanks to you! Additionally you can now follow us on different platforms, like YouTube, X[x.com], TikTok[www.tiktok.com] and Instagram[www.instagram.com], so we can stay in touch all over the internet.

While there you can watch short forms of content and comment your thoughts - why not play the game yourself? That’s right, we are stoked to tell you already:

Great to see you, Painters!

It’s us - the scientists behind the “Dreampainters” project. Last year in October, some of you had a chance to play our game at the Poznan Gaming Arena (PGA) event. The halls were packed with positive energy, flashing screens, and hundreds of passionate gamers. In that crowded space, we offered you a place of peace where you could relax and paint your stresses away.

We had prepared an exclusive PGA demo, where you could enjoy it by yourself or with your friend in co-op mode, and we were stoked to share it with you!

Seeing so many of you stop by our booth, play the demo, share opinions, and just vibe and talk with us meant a lot. The energy, questions, reactions - the most valuable feedback we could ask for. Watching you experience our game live was something we won’t forget anytime soon.

Many of you gave us great advice, some of you found unusual ways to beat our demo (seriously, we were impressed), and all of your engagement was, and still is, very important to us - thank you for coming and (hopefully) wishlisting “Dreampainters”. You’re welcome to share your experience with us in the comments or drum roll 🥁 in our Discord server!

Building a strong community is a big factor in our goals, therefore we decided to start a Discord server, where you’ll be able to find sneak peeks, giveaways, share your art and ideas, talk to other Dreampainters, and of course - us too! Thank you for sending your application. We are happy to inform you that you have met our requirements and it would be our pleasure to tell you more about the study.

How does the process of entering the study look?

Before the actual research, the participant is requested to fill out a twenty-five page agreement between them and Neurem Labs. It contains a brief summary of the Dreampainters project, payment information, and potential health risks.
After that, the participant may begin the actual preparation:

First step - the selected participant undergoes extensive brain scanning and a physical assessment to ensure maximum compatibility with the research equipment.

Second step - If all requirements are met, the participant is connected to a laboratory apparatus that captures electromagnetic brain waves, and thanks to our advanced technology, visualizes them on researchers’ screens.

Third, and final step before the examination begins - The participant is administered a sleep-inducing substance (which is earlier agreed upon), and gradually led into a state of slumber.
Usually all the preparation and dreaming takes about 8 to 10 hours.

Due to the individuality of each participant, we cannot foresee how exactly the dreaming during the examination process may look and feel like. To ensure credible results, Neurem Labs cannot interfere with it. The dreams often depend on the participant's creativity level, their wants, needs, memories, and many more aspects of their life.

Neurem Labs does not take responsibility for the participants’ experiences, since they are fully dependent on their individual minds. Regarding individuals’ mental state, the dreams that occur may not always be pleasant. We recommend you take a careful approach and take great care of yourself at least a week before the study.

If you’re interested in further cooperation, please respond to this e-mail with:
a scan of your identification card or passport,
the date that is most suitable for you,
medical history related to sleep issues, or schizotypal disorders (if any).
Please, also include information if you will need assistance with accommodation and travel*, so we can make sure your experience with Neurem Labs will be a pleasant one.

*overall costs of said assistance will be deducted from the final pay
