🔧 Update Notice: ver 1.28 (Save Display Fix & Protection Mechanism)

Hello everyone,
Thank you for your continued support.

Recently, we received reports from some players about a critical issue where “existing save files do not appear in-game.”
We fully understand how frustrating it is to have your gameplay interrupted, and we sincerely appreciate the players who provided reports, save files, and system details to help us investigate faster.
After repeated technical checks and testing with the developer, here is what ver 1.28 includes:

1) 🧯 Save Recovery Mechanism (Save Data Recovery)
In ver 1.28, if a save conflict/inconsistency is detected, the system will automatically generate a save slot named:
“Save Data Recovery”
✅ Players only need to:
Select “Save Data Recovery” on the load screen → successfully enter the game → save once again
This allows you to continue your main progress (level, story progress, etc.) and helps avoid restarting from the beginning as much as possible.

2) 📌 About Unlocked Content (Gallery / Slave Mode)
We also need to share an important note with affected players:
This issue involves damage to the global system file common.rpgsave. Since this file contains unlock state data for “Gallery” and “Slave Mode,” if it becomes physically corrupted, the unlock records currently cannot be automatically restored by the program.

Therefore:
✅ If you previously encountered the “save not showing in-game” issue, even if ver 1.28 lets you continue your main progress, your Gallery / Slave Mode unlock progress may still need to be re-unlocked.

We know this affects collection/unlock experience and we truly regret it. Thank you for your understanding.

3) 🛡️ Protection Mechanism to Prevent Future Recurrence
To reduce the chance of similar issues happening again, ver 1.28 also adds a new protection mechanism:
If the same type of save conflict occurs in the future, the system will be able to trace unlock states based on your game progress, reducing the risk of losing unlock data.

4) ✅ If You Still Have Issues, Please Help Us Check
If after updating you still experience:
- Saves still not showing
- “Save Data Recovery” cannot be loaded
- Cannot save or continue even after loading

with the following information and we will do our best to investigate:
- Your OS (Windows 10/11, etc.)
- Game version when the issue occurs
- Your www/save folder (zip is fine)
- Screenshots/videos if possible

We will continue monitoring reports and coordinating with the developer to improve stability.

📢Update Announcement: Bug Fixes & Optimization

Thank you for your continuous support and feedback.
We have recently optimized several issues and addressed reported bugs. Below are the details of this update:

✨Key Optimizations & New Support

- Enhanced HDR Support: We have adjusted the game’s engine to better support HDR displays. If your monitor and system have HDR enabled, the game will now provide a better dynamic range.

Localization Fixes:

- Fixed issues where Korean/Japanese text was mixed, and Korean text appeared in the English version.

- Corrected various typos and grammatical errors.

- Fixed text box overflow issues to ensure dialogue displays correctly.

- Korean Version Image Loading Error: Resolved the filename mismatch issue that caused certain images to fail to load.

🛠Gameplay Bug Fixes

- Outfit State Fix: Fixed an issue where Lurie’s outfit state did not reset correctly under specific conditions.

- System Correction: Fixed bugs related to "Slave Mode."

⚠️Known Issues & Developer Notes

- Steam Deck / Linux Freezing Issues: Due to current development environment limitations, we are unable to perform full testing or technical intervention for Linux/Proton. Therefore, compatibility issues for these platforms are currently on hold.

- Dialogue Skip Function: We have received requests for a "Skip" feature. However, implementing this would require a major overhaul of the game's core architecture. Due to high technical difficulty, this feature is currently not planned for implementation.

- Endless Mode: This feature has been added to our evaluation list for future consideration.

💻PC Troubleshooting
If you experience graphical glitches, a black screen, or the game runs poorly, please try the following solutions:

1. Update Graphics Drivers

Ensure your graphics drivers (NVIDIA / AMD) are up to date.

- Non-Dedicated GPU Users: Even if your device uses Integrated Graphics (iGPU), updating Intel or AMD integrated graphics drivers can often resolve launch issues.

2. Force "High Performance" GPU (Fix for Black Screen/Lag)

If your hardware meets the requirements but you still face issues, manually assign the GPU:

(a) Access Settings: Right-click on your desktop → Select \[Display settings].

(b) Open Graphics Options:

Windows 10: Scroll down and click \[Graphics settings].

Windows 11: Click \[Graphics] under Related settings.

(d) Select Executable: Navigate to your game folder and select the Game Executable (.exe).

(e) Set Preference: Find the game in the list, click \[Options], select \[High performance], and click Save.

(f) Restart: Close and restart the game to apply changes.

3. Check Monitor Connection (Desktop Users)

Ensure your monitor cable is plugged directly into the Graphics Card (GPU), not the motherboard.

- Multi-monitor Users: If one screen is connected to the motherboard, it may hinder overall performance. Ensure all monitors are connected to the GPU.

4. Special Notes for Laptop Users

- Power Mode: If set to "Power Saving," the system may disable the dedicated GPU. Please switch your Power Plan to \[Best performance].

- GPU Allocation: Laptops may default to integrated graphics due to system errors. If Step 2 fails, ensure your system isn't restricting GPU usage.

5. System Resource Check

Ensure you have sufficient RAM. Running multiple high-load programs simultaneously may cause texture loading failures or crashes.

Regarding the defeat scenes unlocked through victory.

It is a good idea to allow for defeat scenes and the Slave Mode to be unlocked on the main menu even after winning a fight, so the player is not incentivised to lose intentionally. However, as the Slave Mode on the main menu does not include the dialogue and events that would come after losing the fight, the player is currently still incentivised to reload a save and lose as opposed to using the Slave Mode option from the main menu....

Questions regarding the UI in the Chapter 1 Slave Mode

During Slave Mode, there is a stat called Mobilized Count. This is never explained, and it seems to be stuck permanently at 5, at least during the Chapter 1 Slave Mode. Could this be explained? Also, in Chapter 1, there is the number 5 next to the top grey option, and then number 25 next to the pink Party option. These numbers are also not explained in game. Could these also be explained?...

This game is absolutely fantastic. Imagine a Trigun-like setting with Persona-like social links and a delightful cast of characters.

The combat is quite good though the challenge is heavily diminished if you're good at planning... still by round 5 it makes you sweat a little.

Translation/writing is really good though there are a decent amount of typos.

H content is quite good and VERY well integrated in the story. my only minor complaint is slightly more variety in the the bad end training scenes would have been nice but that is just nitpicking.

Absolutely buy this, it's an instant classic.
