Changelist:

— Fixed cyclops hitboxes. They first appear when liberating the forges. Previously, the collision timing was less obvious, and you could take unexpected damage — now surviving is a bit easier.

— After leveling up and returning to battle, the character now has a brief invulnerability window. So when you level up in the middle of a crowd, you have enough time not just to die, but also to panic properly.

— Observed severe game darkening when using HDR — fixed.

— Delivery quest has been made easier; reduced the number of mobs.

— The first quest of Odysseus has been simplified, personal character amulets are now more effective, and the deadly wave of enemies at the 20‑minute mark has been removed.

— In the bear quest when playing as Perseus, the status granted by Apollo was labeled with another character's name — fixed.

— When naming a new game, input focus was lost; you had to click the name field again to continue typing — fixed.

— In the forge, when switching between amulet sections, the music would interrupt and restart from the beginning — fixed. Now playback is continuous.

That's all for the changes made so far.

There is one more issue that requires more time to resolve, but we want you to know we're aware of it. It concerns the game's behavior with non‑standard screen resolutions — the UI may misbehave. For example, it may make purchasing and upgrading amulets in the forge difficult when hovering with the cursor. In such cases, you can use WASD and Space, as well as a gamepad, for navigation and purchase confirmation. This is not how it should work — sorry for the inconvenience.

Bear escort mission is bad.

Can you please do something about the bear escort mission? The bear walks incredibly slow, stops moving if you get more than a screen away, gets stuck behind all the enemies, and if your attacks push enemies away they end up bumping the bear and pushing it further away. I have failed the level due to running out of time 4 times now and it has stopped being any fun....

Roadmap, a few words about our plans, and Steam Deck

We’d like to share a rough development roadmap for the game with you. Here it is!

It’s hard to predict every little detail in the long run — both our own wishes and capabilities, as well as your feedback, play a big role. That’s why the roadmap doesn’t go too deep into specifics and focuses on the most solid part of the game: the expansion of its story branches.

Those who have seen the Forge (or its screenshot) know that it contains several Paths. Each Path is part of the global story, with its own quests that unlock new amulets, characters, and other content.

Right now, the Path of Glory is fully complete, and by the end of October we plan to finish the next three: the Path of Libations, the Path of Beauty, and the Path of Wisdom. The next update is coming as soon as July.

Of course, the game will also receive smaller updates with various tweaks. These will focus mainly on bug fixes and game balance adjustments — plus we’ll gradually be adding more language localizations.

Frequent suggestions

A quick word on a couple of the most popular suggestions: expanding the achievement system (including the Arena) and weapon evolution / combining.

We do plan to develop achievements, both for the main game and for the Arena. The first few days already showed that this is something players want.

As for evolution and combining — we’re not dismissing the idea entirely. But to be honest, it’s a huge amount of work that wasn’t even in our original plans. Beyond having to come up with these weapons from scratch, they also need to be implemented properly: they have to work within the game, look right, sound right, and not break the balance. We hear you, and we’re keeping it in mind — but we’re not going to say “Yes, of course” just yet. That would be an empty promise at this point.

We’ve seen comments like this many times, and we absolutely agree with you.

We can’t give an exact timeframe just yet, but Steam Deck support is a goal for us, and it will definitely happen.

Hello friends!

A short but important update.

The days leading up to release were a bit crazy and exciting. We tried not to miss anything, but as often happens in such situations, we did miss something.

We're talking about the early access launch discount.

We've now fixed it — a 20% discount is active.

We're grateful to everyone who supported us from the start, regardless of the price — it meant a lot to us. We want to be honest with you, and we'll understand if you request a refund to buy the game again at the lower price.
