Hello everyone!

Hope you are all well. The wait is over - explore the mystery, uncover the secrets of the attic, pet your cat, and step into the unknown. The 18th Attic is NOW Available on Steam.

After 1 year of development, countless late nights, and so much passion, THE 18TH ATTIC is finally out on Steam. This project started as a small idea from a concept I did back in January 2025 which I released first on YouTube and grew into something truly special thanks to all the support, feedback, and encouragement along the way.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me!

problem with alive anomaly

i died 3 times cause of the alive anolaly that you get around the 14th floor. As soon as it appeared, it was blocking the way for me to go past it. only way to get passed it was to get attacked so it would move. Also, as soon as you start going up the stairs it starts moving even if youre looking at it and its much faster than me so it would kill me everytime i started going up the stairs even if it was still tryna go up the other stairs....

New Release Date Announced - 23 January 2026!

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well.I wanted to share an important update regarding The 18th Attic. The release date has been moved from February 2, 2026 to an earlier date - January 23, 2026. After nearly a year since the first announcement, the doors are almost open and the attic is ready to be explored!

This journey has taken longer than I ever expected, but I truly hope it’s worth it.

The game has gone through many updates, with a strong focus on accessibility and overall polish, including subtitles, controller support, localization in 13 languages, and much more.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the game so far through wishlisting, playtesting, and sharing feedback. Your support has meant a great deal, and I can’t wait to hear what you think.

There are two modes to this game and theyre both way creepier than I expected... The environment and sound design are insanely good, every little noise had me second-guessing myself. Walking around the attic feels tense the entire time, like something is always watching you.. Honestly, thank god the cat was there with me, because without it I would’ve noped out way faster

Thoughts

Great game, really enjoyed it and thanks for the access prior to release. Not sure if this will be covered in a day one patch but none of the achievements unlocked despite getting to the end. This was in Chase Mode. Assumed they would unlock in both Story and Chase mode but none did. Otherwise, ran flawlessly and was a fun time. Very creepy at times! Thank you!...

If you look at this game objectively, everything is clear: it has a CAT, so it’s amazing! Subjectively, it’s just as good: great graphics and performance, high-quality voice acting, an emotional story, and an unexpected ending. The anomalies take on a new meaning here: they act as memories that unlock the story, which makes you want to explore and discover more.
I highly recommend it!

It's a good anomaly game. The anomalies are quite nicely balanced - they're neither too hard nor too easy to find so it's not frustrating but also not obvious and boring. At first I thought the chase mode will be annoying but it's really not, i found a way to handle it and I'm basicaly a chicken. Just give it a try

Hello everyone! Hope you are all well.

I am very excited to finally share the news about The 18th Attic - and it's officially coming out on February 2, 2026! After over almost a year since the first announcement, the doors are almost open to climb inside the attic ːsteamhappyː

It's been a long one and never expected that it will take this much time, but I hope it's worth it! A lot of updates have been made to the game and I also put a big focus on accountabilities such as subtitles, controller support, localization to 13 languages and a ton of other stuff!

You're aware there's a typo in your announcement image? It should read the 18th attic, not the 18ht attic.

Typos and Got Stuck

Anomaly instructions say "meat" instead of "meant", and then "don'" instead of "don't". More importantly, around level 8 or so, I ended up getting pinned between a sliding chair and the cardboard boxes behind the mannequin and had to quit the game, as I absolutely could not move. I found I must have missed some anomalies, as I would wander around on a floor for a very long time and couldn't seem to trigger anything or notice an anomaly.
