Demo Update, Final Stage Progress & Gameplay Improvements

While working on the demo update, I have finally completed one of the last three final stages. My goal is to finish the remaining two stages and two bosses by June.

The updates for the demo are as follows:

Improvements

Enhanced Wall Jump Controls: A special thanks once again to Nikolai Boidalo from DTF for the gameplay footage and invaluable advice.
Improved Camera Collision: Refined for a smoother viewing experience.
Combat Difficulty Adjustments: Balanced the overall combat difficulty and added a new enemy type that significantly replenishes accumulated attack points.
Modified Scan Effects: Updated for better visual clarity.

Bug Fixes

Fixed enemy spawn bugs in the Tutorial and Area 170.
Fixed various other bugs and glitches to improve stability.

Having played the demo for almost 2 hours, I'm liking it so far. It's solidly in my "this could be something" category. For a solo dev (or even for a few devs) this is truly impressive; great design, great environments, decent voice-acting, interesting story. Demo V2.2 Update

The demo has been updated to version 2.2. This release significantly modifies the early game progression and partially revamps the player skill system. Additionally, multiple bug fixes and optimizations have been implemented. I have also prepared a Demo 2.2 update trailer featuring a new feel, pacing, and music.

I have compiled a development summary to mark the end of 2025. I am constantly gaining new insights and learning every month during this process. Development is currently a bit over two-thirds complete. My plan for next year is to conduct testing, participate in Next Fest, and release Liminal City: Axiom of Maria. I am also preparing a major demo update for January. Thank you for your continued interest and I wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Hi, I am playing the demo and I'm liking what I've seen so far. I also played the previous demo and I find the progress of the game really impressive. I have a 4 feedback items. 1. Your game already supports super-ultrawide (32:9) resolutions, however the "game area" is being cropped unnecessarily. Dark Areas and Prologue Was Better

The first on was great as you could see you where your going, this one has so many dark areas. One area the area is soo dark, the voiceover says to take a closer look as there has to be stairs going down, Its so dark i cant see the area well This one seems to be way different from the first. Pros: Controller Support Customization Options Level Design is weird windy and really interesting. Music is nothing but ear worms and my ears are hungry fish(I'd see a doctor but I lack health insurance). General Game Design for Combat and Movement feels and plays pretty okay.
