It's been a while! Almost a year since I've updated the demo, and over a year since the original demo release. Just crazy. Thanks all for your patience as it's just me working on this thing, and I only have so much time!

That being said, I've been pouring hours into Settler's Domain in the last couple months. There are a ton of changes since the last build, I certainly cannot highlight them all here. Check out the updated trailer and screenshots to see some of them! Or, give the demo another shot (you'll need to start a new world anyway, v0.2 saves are not compatible with v0.3). Below you'll find a rough list of big additions/changes.

• You can now discover other settlements!!!

• Added Diplomacy menu with multiple options for interaction

• Added simple fighting between settlements

• Added razing - structures can be destroyed with attacks

• Settlers can now get pregnant and have children

• Added Traits which give settlers a variety of bonuses

• Traits can be inherited by children

• Structures are now unlocked through the Research menu

• Researching costs Influence

• Each structure category has its own research tree

• You can unlock backgrounds for your settlement

• Each gives a powerful, settlement wide effect

• Reworked Recruitment

• Start with only 6 options

• More options can be added by building Recruitment Structures

There are so many other things, but nothing else big enough to list here. Test out the new version and you'll see.

With this update, I've got pretty much every system I want in Settler's Domain. So much more could be added, but it's out of scope for a solo-dev (me) who actually wants to get it released. So, now what's needed is more content. More structures, resources, traits, backgrounds, whatever. That, along with bug fixes and performance improvements.

I'll do my best, and will hopefully be sharing a release date within the coming months!
