Hello everyone,

A big thank you to everyone who tried the demo and gave us feedback!

As a tiny team of just three people working with a very limited budget, it’s impossible for us to test every possible combination of things ourselves — so we truly appreciate all the bug reports and gameplay feedback we’ve received. We’re working as hard as we can to deliver the best game possible!

After working on this game for quite some time without showing much, we realised it’s far better to share the process and let the community take part in development. That’s why we’ve decided to open up a beta branch!

This is your chance to get an early preview of upcoming features, systems, and content before they go live in the main version — and to help us make the game even better along the way. Keep in mind: the beta will likely be full of bugs, half-finished features, and other oddities — that’s exactly why we need your help testing it!

Empty Boxes

I really loved the demo and enjoyed it, I did not even realise for how long I played. One thing that annoyed me though, was that I could not see what's in what box and if they are empty or not. I kept piling them up in the back of the kitchen because I had no idea if there were still ingredients in it or not. It also would be great to pin a couple of recipes while at the cooking stations. Especially for the bigger recipes. All in all I hope the game gets released soon, even in early access ːwinter2019happ...

Demo Update Version 123.4.1

Changes:

All empty delivery boxes can now be thrown away in the trash!
- In a future patch, we’ll stop automatically destroying delivery boxes when you store them in the fridge. It'll be up to you to decide whether to throw them out or keep them as decorations!
Made some animations a bit nicer

Bugs & Fixes:

Customers should no longer steal glasses—or bowls, for those of you who still experienced that. お客さんたちはバカですよ！
You can no longer put empty ramen boxes—or any empty boxes, for that matter—into the fridge.

UI:

Fixed some UI-related info, mainly around when you can and can’t stack items.
Fixed an issue where some of the "Add Ingredient" buttons became unclickable.
Burner buttons now get disabled when cooking starts.
The money counter now animates when you earn money!
Food and drink items on the on-screen orders now get crossed out when served.

Demo 2 - Store update!

It’s here: our first content update! We welcome the first (of many) stores to Ramen Shop Simulator.

This store is a mail order one in the shape of a fax machine, you’ll be able to order food, decorations and more from it!

All food etc you order will be delivered immediately outside your restaurant! For now, we've waived the delivery fee.
Decorations will appear magically in your decoration storage!

Patch Notes
Features:

New: In-game store!
New: Right-click a decoration in the decoration storage to sell it

Bugs:

Stealing customers
- We think we’ve gotten it this time, and the customer should no longer try and take your bowls home (even though we understand them)
- We’ve added more bowls to prevent soft locking from too much theft
Standing lantern no longer falls over

Tutorial doesn't progress

I get stuck after buying the instant ramen and the gas canister. I store the instant ramen in the fridge and attach the canister to the stove. The tutorial message tells me I'm stuck at 5/6 tasks. I have the empty ramen box but no idea where to put it, since it won't let me put it in the trash....

Pots and serving sizes.

There are the same amount of serving sizes in a 26L pot as in a 36L pot. This makes no sense. What point is there in getting the proper big stove with bigger pots if you are stuck with only 2 servings of chicken instant ramen anyway.
