We've been working hard on the full game, and some of those improvements make the game communicate its mechanics much more clearly, so we've rolled them into the demo as well. This update brings better visual readability, nicer animations, improved controller handling, reduced file size, and several bug fixes.

New features

• Added a delete save button.

• Small tweak to one puzzle and its hint.

Clearer visual communication

• Improved giraffe body shapes: corners now occupy tiles much more clearly.

• Knotted double rings now also have the inner ring knotted.

• Flashing body now uses the correct boundary and changes color based on context.

Visual polish

• Giraffe body: added subtle shape variation so it feels less perfectly mathematical, and fixed blurry corner textures.

• Ossicone and ear animations now reset correctly over time.

• Added a touch of squash-and-stretch to the head movement animation.

• Collecting rings now increases their size instead of offsetting their position.

• Adjusted camera position to better center levels.

• Sky transitions are no longer instant when undoing.

Controller improvements

• Crosshair now hides after using quick undo.

• Controller sticks activate only after a button press.

• Clicking a controller stick now pauses stick input for 0.5 seconds.

Bug fixes

• Fixed incorrect door colors after loading a save.

• Fixed mouse-wrapping issues on some Linux systems.

• Fixed Enter key closing the game when it shouldn't.
