The Demo of "Empires of a Tiny Universe" is now available and contains the tutorial, two campaign missions and one random map (with restricted configuration options), as well as one of the three factions, the "Hoomans".

Liking it so far!

Only thing I think would be great is a checkbox option for orbital mechanics(planets and moons rotating around eachother), but that could just be me! It's pretty good as it is either way. Looking forward to the other factions! (Also I hope more difficulties)...

First Steam Playtest

To ensure that the game is of high quality, we need your feedback. Therefore, the first playtest version is now available.

The playtest initially includes the tutorial, the first campaign mission and some of the random maps for custom skirmishes against the AI with one of the factions, the Hoomans.

Participants will be gradually unlocked for the playtest and constructive feedback is welcome in the Steam Community area or Discord. Especially interesting are suggestions for improvements to the gameplay, interface, level design etc. as well as reports of bugs should they exist.

Demo feedback

Hey, just finished the tutorial and wanted to give some feedback. It's a cool little game! The tutorial text felt a bit too slow tho, for example, I was playing at max speed and scouted the planet and star before tutorial finished talking about scouting. I also managed to break the game for myself - changed it to fullscreen in the settings, and moved the UI scaling slider. Now the main menu no longer fits on the screen, so I can't access the settings to move it back :D...

Zooming in and out

When trying to zoom in and out i'm not able to, however there is a second window that opens with the game which is a command prompt when I tab into that I can use the zoom in and out in the game but not interact with the game and have to tab again.
