From July 1 (today) until July 22, we’re hosting an Arkheron-themed Fan Art Competition! We can’t wait to see what you create. There are two categories you can compete in:

• Premium Art - Any static medium: illustration, painting, sculpture, mosaic etc.

• MS Paint - You can only use MS paint. 

Whether you're immortalising a favorite moment, celebrating a beloved character, or imagining something entirely new, your art should feel at home in the world of Arkheron. Entries will be judged on creativity, skill, and how well they capture its spirit.

Fan Favorite

Keep track of your favorites as the submissions come in. When the competition ends, we’ll ask you to nominate your favorite artwork. These nominations will then become a pool where the community will pick the final Fan Favorite.

Arkheron Fan Art Competition Rules

Dates: Submissions open July 1 (from the time of this post) through July 22 at 1pm PT. Winners announced around July 27, 2026.

How to Enter

Post your artwork to the General Forum category here[forums.arkheron.com] with “Fan Art Competition” in the title. 

Your Artwork

• It should be clearly inspired by the world of Arkheron - its characters, environments, lore, gameplay etc.

• It needs to be your own original work, made specifically for this competition, and can't include anyone else's copyrighted material.

• Keep it community-friendly: nothing political, hateful, or sexually suggestive.

• AI-generated artwork isn't eligible. We'd love to see your process, so hang on to your sketches, layer history, or time-lapses in case we ask to verify.

What You're Agreeing To

By participating, you agree to follow these Rules and Arkheron’s Code of Conduct[arkheron.com]. All submissions must follow the spirit of the challenge. Bonfire Studios may take action, including disqualification, at its sole discretion if an entry or participant violates the rules or our community standards. All decisions are final. 

By submitting an entry, you're giving Bonfire Studios permission to feature your artwork with credit to you for promotional purposes (such as on our websites and social media channels); we call this a ‘non-exclusive license’. You keep full ownership of your work but we’d love to showcase your work to the broader community. 

Eligibility

• You must be 13 years or older. If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country), you need your parent or legal guardian’s permission to participate. 

• You must live somewhere that allows this type of competition, otherwise it is void where such competitions are prohibited. 

• Bonfire Studios employees aren't eligible to enter.

Judging

A panel of Bonfire Studios employees will judge each entry based on creativity, skill, and how well they capture Arkheron's spirit. The MS Paint category entries will receive bonus points for entertainment value. 

Campaigning for votes, putting down other artists' work or just generally being a poor sport may result in disqualification. All decisions of the panel are final and binding. 

Prizes

If you win a physical prize, we'll reach out to collect your name and mailing address so we can get it to you! If a potential winner is an eligible minor, we reserve the right to award the prize in the name of your parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for complying with these rules.

Last week, we continued playtesting the massive 0.20 Spires game mode patch[arkheron.com]. We ran some fun community custom games on Tuesday, and trained hard for the Dahla Cup, a community-run tournament hosted by Hawks and Nethy this past weekend! 

Here’s what we’re up to this week:

Tower “Half-Hour” + Dev Customs

Join us for a mini-Tower Hour, now at 7 pm PT, where we’ll spotlight our community goings-on and talk to the Dahla Cup organizers about post-tournament highlights, learnings, and more! Then, we’ll run some custom Ascension games– with the Fishing Amulet and Vision Pulse turned ON! Whether you’re a novice Echo or a seasoned player, we welcome all skill levels. Arkheron Playtest Windows

The Tower opens for playtesting, with times varying depending on your region. Queues this week will be on Spires, Arkheron’s version of an “Arena” mode. Spires aims to help players (old and new) sharpen their skills in combat.

Arkheron’s playtest windows are how we play, learn, and grow alongside our community, while testing out exciting new features and fine-tuning the game to its optimal state.

During these playtests, you can expect us to experiment with a variety of features and activities to help us better tailor the experience, understand how you all like to play Arkheron, and help us beat up new additions to the game. We’re learning as you play, so expect several iterations and changes that feel very work-in-progress.
