Updated movement!

25 Feb

I updated the movement so that the minimum jump height is higher. Also on controllers you can now use the X/A (South button) to jump by default. You can stay in the air longer now by shooting down and the player doesn't fall as fast as before when letting go of jump. The player collider has been tweaked and many other small tweaks were made to make it smoother. Tutorial is updated too. PLEASE give the game another try. Feedback is welcome on discord :)

(Make sure the version number says 0.76 in bot right on start screen)

Demo Feedback

This game looks pretty good. I like the story and characters (always happy to see stories where Goblins are the heroes. Luv me some Gobbos) and I especially appreciate that progress across the world seems to be real and you don't have to start from the beginning each time you die. However, I feel like the game does not play very well on a controller. The main fireball and boost jump is too situational (at least in the demo) to make the whole control scheme revolve around it. unity 6000.3.9f1_7a9955a4f2fa crash on startup steam

Welcome bike ! I don't know unity at all and have no ideas but the demo crash on startup which pops up a short and small crash window with the 6000.3.9f1_7a9955a4f2fa reference on title. I played a previous démo months ago without issues but this one doesn't start. Now I managed to get it to work though, Solution: delete the d3d12 folder. Thats it, once I deleted that folder I was able to start the game at least to the title screen. I'm at work right now so I don't really have time to play ...

Just a little feedback.

Hey Pete, knockback or some hit indication would make combat way better in my opinion. Other than that, it looks polished and has potential to be fun. And i know who Evelyn is irl :)
