Hello everyone!

We wanted to share a small update on some of the fixes and improvements we've been working on. First of all, thank you for all the feedback, bug reports, and patience you've shown since launch.

Every report helps us make the game better, and we truly appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share their experiences with us.

In this update, we've addressed several issues reported by the community, including:

✨ Fixed a fatal error crash that occurs for some when launching the game.

✨ Updated and improved localization the signs text across all available languages.

✨ Fixed an issue where the pause menu could be closed while the inventory was still open.

✨ Updated and improved localization in the Settings menu.

✨ Fixed issues with the "Missions" tab in the book.

✨ Various other small bug fixes, tweaks, and polish improvements throughout the game.

🍎 Mac Players: We have also prepared a Mac build.

Today, we’re incredibly excited to finally welcome you to Kioku Island and let you experience Asti’s unforgettable summer adventure for yourselves. Explore a small island full of hidden paths, peaceful routines, curious locals, little mysteries, collectible treasures, fishing spots, minigames, and heartfelt friendships waiting to unfold.

Inspired by childhood summers, Scandinavian and Japanese countryside vibes, and beloved 90s games and cartoons, Kioku: Last Summer is all about slowing down, staying curious, and finding magic in the small moments.

After 2.5 years of sleepless nights, stress, rewrites, setbacks, and moments where we honestly thought we wouldn’t make it, we did. We poured everything we had into this game. Every late night, every sacrificed weekend, and every bit of passion ended up in Kioku. ✨

We’re exhausted. Completely dead. But also incredibly proud. 🥰 To everyone who supported us, believed in us, shared the project, tested the game, or simply stayed along for the ride, thank you. Seriously. This wouldn’t exist without this community. 🫶
