Does the game have a sandbox mode ala x4 or is it only focused on the campaign?

Hey there i really dont know how to discripe my bug. I play the campaign and the game shut down to steam and ingame again like it reaload or something. Every minute. The Screen turns black and than the game goes to destop and ingame again like i tab out and in again. But i dont know how to solve. Anyone the same?...

Dear lord... If not a hex then a diarrhea... I am not stuck. I managed to hack two stations. Had a talk about breaking into the the prison ship and now I want to hire marines. I found myself a marine officer and I am trying to reach her, but each time I dock, doesn't matter where, I cannot move. The game is not paused. I am trying jumping, moving my mouse around, nothing works. Crawling doesn't either... I just can't move except of opening the enter menu and that's it. I can't reach the marine officer. Ca...

I have never really played an X game as generally x games are more about fleets and empire building and honestly... I want a carebear Eve like experience. I want to have my ship and I want to mine and trade and sometimes do a mission. I don't really enjoy managing a huge fleet...
