Golf With Your Friends 2 End of Year Update and New Course Screenshots!

Golfers! It's been a hot minute since our last Golf With Your Friends 2 update and with 2025 coming to a close, we wanted to check-in with you all about what's been going on! 🏌️

The development team at Radical Forge have continued to work hard on the courses for the new game! A few months ago we revealed the first of our new courses, the Skate Park (not the final name!) and we were really pleased with the community's response. We're now ready to start showing off some of the second course too, so make sure to check out the new screenshots below!

A quick reminder in case you missed the first course reveal 👇

The Skate Park course challenges you and your friends to tee off along the beach front and skate park of this new urban jungle! Watch out for a few crabby critters along the way and try to stay out of the sand traps! 🏖️🛹

And we're excited to reveal that our second course will take place in a land of fire and ice: a snowy tundra surrounding the base of several fiery volcanoes! We'll have more info and a more in depth look at this new course soon, so keep an eye out! ❄️🌋

no steam workshop please

steam workshop is difficult to use and even more difficult to organize your courses. I hope since it's cross platform that it has it's own built in workshop/content system baked directly into the game. Any info on this?

Golf With Your Friends 2 Release Plans Update 🏌️⛳

Golfers! Back in December, we announced Golf With Your Friends 2! Since then our development team, Radical Forge, have been hard at work building the game from the ground up in a new engine. Our goal with the sequel is to make the best possible Golf With Your Friends game we can and that means that we've had to make a few difficult decisions along the way.

That is to say that we've decided to move away from an Early Access release on Steam, and instead launch Golf With Your Friends 2 as a full release across all platforms in 2026.

This wasn't an easy decision, but it's one that gives us the freedom to make sure the sequel releases with all the polish, content and chaos that you expect from a Golf With Your Friends game!

We appreciate your patience and support as we keep working on Golf With Your Friends 2! We'll have lots more to share over the coming months, including full course reveals and behind the scenes content! Keep an eye out for the Skate Park course showcase soon!

New game with even more DLC? No thank you.

I already haven't bought your first game's overpriced DLC. Now you're making a second game to sell us more DLC? I imagine the game itself won't be free. Course DLC should be free, or the base game should be free. Don't charge for both.
