just looking for some people to co op with and I got a congo group going for people who want to play regularly, just comment if any of you want to play

I'm glancing at the forums and it's full of "does anyone play?" and "looking for co-op buddies". I'd like to buy this game, but I don't want to depend on finding people. So my question is, can you play this alone?

Just bought it a few minutes ago, and it seems like a nice game. However... it looks dead to me. No one in any public games, no current players playing, no recent threads... Nothing. Did i just buy a dead game?
