Demo Patch 0.3.2 Release Notes

The current release of the demo is stable while the game itself is in Beta. Generally everything should function fine but you may hit bugs and issues. If you find some let us know cause we’re a super tiny indie studio, we don’t have 30+ QA people reviewing the game.

Changes

Added tabletop visual elements to enforce the theme of the game.
Fix for hitting a teleport more than once would bring you to the next scene but would break teleporting.
Fixed AI being fritzy when using jump nav links.
Lowered knocked down effect duration from 3 to 2.5 seconds. Also made it so you can’t rotate while knocked down.
Fix for rolling when entering a boss intro volume would make you keep flying after the cutscene.
Attempting to leave Mistfall region without getting your magic back first makes Kyra/Enya mention that we should heal it in the town first before leaving.
Reduced distance that camera sees screen shakes from melee combat.
Sound Fixes
- Fix for volume mix levels not matching design. When a player has all dials at 100% the music+ambience should be at half volume compared to the rest of the game.
- Better sfx balance and variation for wolves, swords and deer.
- Fix for Wolf King’s intro missing drums.
UI Fixes
- Fix for tooltips not working correctly on non-1080 resolutions.
- Fix for skills and map panel not lining up properly on non-1080 resolutions.
- Added wishlist button to main menu.
- Improved the look of the “relative” highlight for equipment slots when you are inspecting an item that could fit into that slot.

Known Issues

If you play single player you can give items to your sister but cannot get them back. Switching characters is a feature we are working on to help single player.
Non-English translations are currently placeholder.
Mistfall Nexus cutscene has lighting issues on low quality setting.
You can just run and jump across the river to get out of Mistfall. We plan on tripling the size of the river but it isn’t too big of a deal if a player gets through anyway. You can’t leave Mistfall area without getting your spellcasting restored.
Wolf king sometimes jumps off the cliff before you arrive, you still get credit for killing the boss though!
Skybox has some banding in the first in-game cutscene where the twins wake up.
You can push NPCs, seriously try it it’s pretty funny.
Some menus have incorrect navigation with controller or keyboard arrows.

not sure gamepad works with the resolution picker, as the list doesn't scroll down (there are a billion entries anyway) for that matter, not sure resolution picker works at all.. i picked something with mouse.. hit ok.. and it goes back to saying 640x480@59.94Hz ... well.. it looks like it does change, but not displaying the actual resolution whenever you go back to the gfx page. which is unfortunate, because if you don't touch the gfx screen and change anything else, such as volume.. and hit apply (or equ...

Several fixes to options menu when using controller
Fix for tabbing to an empty tab in inventory was leaving the tooltip open on the old item
More tutorial flowers!
Added a player join toast to make it more clear that a player has joined using KBM or joystick
Fixed resolution dropdown not auto-scrolling when using joystick
Updated quest descriptions

Known Issues

The demo for Tamzin Twins: The Tyranny of Tyrek is now LIVE!

What's in the Demo?

The demo is mainly the first small town and one dungeon so that players get a feel of what the game is about. It also includes all the intro cinematics, 2 bosses, a treasure room dungeon where you get your spells, and a combat playtest arena in the main menu.

I love this game, how can I help out more than just wishlisting?

So we're basically a one-man band studio since we all have day jobs and just make games on the side right now. That means we can't do tons of marketing and we could use all the help we can get.
