A great first entry from Feeble Minds!

For an early access game it already feels quite polished and there is already a lot of content to explore and fight through. Combat reminds me a lot of Dark Souls II without needing the adaptability stat (thank god) and in general feels quite smooth already.

One of my main concerns as of right now is the way rewards are handled throughout the run, as the world feels a bit empty with these big spaces and lots of enemies, but just only a handful of rewards along the way. If we take Elden Ring Nightreign for example, we get lots of small rewards everywhere we go, maybe not all of them useful, but the feeling of progression is way more present in terms of roguelike mechanics and feel.

In terms of the overall experience, I would definitely recommend picking it up with a couple friends and just try it out. Co-op has been a lot of fun and even with the limited rewards during a run, there is still quite some already existing build variety within the game.

I've had lots of fun so far! While being punishing like most souls-like games, it's really something else when you are a bunch of friends and you can all laugh or scream at the failures. Definately feels polished and with a lot of stuff to experiment even being early-access. Worth trying out if you've got some friends and are up for some tricky but rewarding combat!

Better rogue-like elements than Nightreign.
