The handling in this game is the best part. It feels extremely responsive, satisfying, and enjoyable on both a wheel and a controller. (It's indeed 100x times better than awful F1 24)

For the first time since F1 2020, I can spend countless hours in Time Trial simply driving around and testing different setups because driving itself is fun.

The biggest problem I've encountered is the AI. It's unrealistically fast on the straights and slow in the corners. The AI has near-perfect traction out of corners every time, and it also brakes far too early. Even on 110 AI difficulty, their tire wear always seems to be lower than yours, even if you're running maximum PSI to decrease degradation. There's also a noticeable difference in pace between qualifying and race sessions. Qualifying always feels much easier than the race, perhaps because of the tire degradation issue, but I'm not sure. All of this breaks immersion a bit, and these AI problems have been present since the game launched and were never fixed.

The career modes (Driver Career and My Team) are great. The game essentially combines every good mechanic they've implemented since F1 2016. It's by far the most fun you'll have in this game.

They've also added individual driver voice lines for engineer communications, race wins, and even simple radio checks. It's a small addition, but it adds a lot to the experience. However, they're still using the same generic engineer voice that originated with "Jeff," whether you're playing Career Mode or Grand Prix Mode. That voice has effectively been in the series since F1 2016—ten years. Maybe it's time to introduce real engineer voice lines in the next game.

I have never really bothered with online play, so I can't comment on that.

Despite all its flaws, I still recommend this game. It's the best F1 game title since F1 2020.

Meanwhile EA Sports: Selling a roster update, a reskin and 1 new track for the price of a half of the game. Also not even allowing TO USE THIS PAID UPDATE TO PLAY COOP CAREER WHICH WAS AN OPTION IN THE BASE GAME.

I hope that every person in EA leadership gonna get sent to Epstein's Island and forced to play battle royale IRL.
