I have listened to your feedback!

Hey everyone, I have added the feature suggested by many streamers which is voice recording on death! Now you can record your own voice to motivate yourself when you lose or roast yourself when you deserve it! The feature is 100% recommended if you want to have some laugh when you lose in the game!

The feature is available in the game's demo, can't wait to see what everyone will recordːsteamhappyː

Blue gem level 1-5

I can't figure out how to find the blue gem in level 1-5, the one with all the skeletons. Even after I got all the crystals it doesn't appear anywhere

Demo is out!

The demo version of the game has just gone live!

This demo version has the following features:

9 handcrafted levels topped with an epic BOSS FIGHT!
Competitive & Casual leaderboards for each level
14 achievements for the true completionists
Assist Mode to fine-tune the challenge to your style
15–30 minutes to beat the demo… 1–2 hours if you're hunting every last Gem and Crystal (And that’s without Assist Mode!)

The demo will run for the foreseeable future, I don't have any plans on taking it down.

I’ll be dropping the first public Light Dude Demo next Friday on March 27!!

Soon you’ll be able to experience running blindly and fighting epic boss fights all in the DARK!

I’ve been working hard to get this ready for you all, and I can’t wait to finally let you try it out.

Blue and red gems

HI, first of all: I really enjoyed the demo. The mechanics are unique and the difficulty was just right for my taste. One thing that could be improved is the gems. I've played through the whole demo but still didn't figured out the requirements for a red gem. Blue gems seems to appear after some time and/or enough collected crystals, but I (as far as I know) red gems never seem to spawn. Don't get me wrong, I do like the idea of the gems to further improve your score and adjust the difficulty this way. ...

Will the Assist-Mode deactivate achievements?

Hello, this is quite an interesting game I have to say with an unique premise. I really dig the idea and it leads to an different gameplay-dynamic treating light as a ressource and sometimes forcing the player to keep their momentum. One thing that bothers me so is the "Assist" mode offering invincibility. Look, it's not my intention to "gatekeep" people, but it's a typical pattern I've saw in many games.
