The Augment Anthem demo is live on Steam.

From the start, one of our main goals was simple: we did not want upgrades that only made numbers go up. We wanted Augments and Abilities to change how you move, how you fight, and even which routes open up to you.

This demo is a first look at the world, tone, and core movement systems of the game.
It focuses on exploration and getting familiar with the two main traversal abilities:

the throwable teleport beacon device
and the teleport tether

If you jump in, here is what we especially want you to feel:

- How movement feels while exploring the environment

- Whether the world feels interesting to navigate and read

- That exploration gets more interesting when your build changes how you read the space

Augment Anthem is our 2D sci-fi metroidvania about exploration, ability-driven progression, and experimenting with different ways to move through a ruined world.

If you play the demo, we would love to hear:

- where movement or exploration clicked

- where things felt muddy, weak, or confusing

Two superintelligences Id and Superego destroyed the surface world and left their machines to finish the job. You are the Anthem's final creation. A synthetic warrior forged from the consciousness of four alien warriors who fought the Omega Consciousness on their own worlds and failed.

This time, you fight together.

Release Date: May 15, 2026

We are confirming today that Augment Anthem will launch on Steam on May 15, 2026. Explore the interconnected depths of Bunker 7. Combine four Augment types Ascend, Replicate, Magnet, and Amplify across your gun, movement, tether, beacon, and drone. Rebuild Haven for the survivors who refused to give up.

Playable demo coming before launch

We have one more thing. Before release day, we will be making a free playable demo available on Steam. We want you to experience Bunker 7 for yourselves to feel the Augment system, to explore, to fight before committing a single dollar.

We believe in this game, and we believe that once you play it, you will too. The demo date will be announced in a follow-up post. If you are wishlisted, you will receive a notification the moment it goes live.

Wall Jump MAJOR bug.

I just defeated lust and got the wall jump ability. I'm supposed to be able to wall jump an unlimited number of times off of the magnetic walls, however I can only jump off of them once, and can't ascend magnetic wall passages.
