From our team at Bunkhouse Games we want to thank everyone who has tried our demo and special thanks to everyone who has given us feedback. We are furiously working towards the next Playtest and we know you are excited to play it. Due to so many people jumping into Flock Off! this weekend, we are announcing that we'll be keeping the demo up through next weekend.

We are working on adding additional languages to the demo and will keep you posted when those patches go live.

Demo Update - Localization and Balancing!

We've just pushed out a small update to the Flock Off! Demo, enabling localization for multiple languages as well as some minor balancing changes.

Game difficulty is now set to easy as the default setting
Reduced Armored Sheep health from 600 -> 400 HP
Food items are now more likely to spawn in crates
Fridges can now spawn stacks of food instead of singular items

We now support German, French, Spanish and Portuguese. We are currently working on getting Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Russian implemented, those were sadly delayed due to technical difficulties.

There are a few elements that have not been translated yet and will be coming with the missing languages.

We need your help!

Since we are a small team, we depend on a mix of machine translations and friends/family for aspects of the localization. If you want to help us improve our translations for your language, don't hesitate to reach out!

Thanks to everyone who has jumped into the demo and given us feedback so far, we hope to run into many more of you over the weekend.

Known Issues:

Translations are missing in the current build, but are on the way very soon!

If the server host has over 100 FPS, physics replication becomes weird for other players if there are more than 2 players connected to the server. Suffering from success, or something 😭
- Workaround: Host limits FPS below 100
Throwing other players will sometimes cause them to clip through geometry (walls, doors, the earth…)
Sometimes the outline effect doesn’t disappear from teammates after they’ve been knocked down and revived.
Returning to Lobby results in clients entering the Void™ for a brief moment, just sit back and relax, you’ll get back to the lobby in no time
Rarely, and for unknown reasons, clients will sometimes get stuck on a black screen after going from lobby to the game map. Only way to get out of it is to Alf+F4 / restart the game.
Pressing ESC while in the Options menu closes the menu and resumes the game instead of taking you back to the pause menu.

Game breaking moments.

One repeated place that has a chance of crashing or freezing the game is at the elevator during initial descent. This will happen when I grab a control box, the 2 hand prop, and throw it at the hoards of sheep. It's possible that the game is trying to do so much with 3 AI, a massive hoard of sheep, an elevator descent and a 2 hand prop that causes radius shock damage....
