Moving the release date for two more weeks. Now releasing on April 13!

Hey there! it's been a while. Just letting you all know that I've decided to move the release date for another two weeks. Our new release date is now April 13, 2026!

A few reasons being is: to give Valve enough time to review our game and store page, create an actual Early Access Release trailer, and we need more time to do some last minute polishing and QA on the build, and generate hype by sending the trailer and keys to press and content creators.

Game releases are pretty complicated. We've been working on this game for the last three years now. As a gamer / game developer myself and looking at recent releases from other games, I just can't bring myself to release an incomplete product. Even if it's just an Early Access release, I want to make sure that the product that I'm pushing out is something I would be proud with and something will give value to people playing it.

With that said, the finish line is on the horizon! And we are actually sending our first build to valve this week for review! Please wish us luck that there will be no more hiccups regarding it. As I estimate EA release build to be around 30+ hours worth of content!

All I can say is, the Early Access content will be a banger! And I hope you all still stick around and give it a shot despite another delay. Again, thank you everyone for all of your support! We couldn't have made it to this point without all of our supporters and all of you who wishlisted our game here!

See you all in our EA release on April 13! And watch out for the new trailer that we're cooking!

Relic Abyss is coming to Early Access in March 31, 2026!

Hi gang! Its been a while! Hope you're all doing okay!

We're officially announcing that Relic Abyss will finally come out on Early Access on March 31, 2026!

We intended to release it in February before, sadly Chapter 3 still needs a bit of cooking and it's expected to be finished by the end of February. I forgot that Steam needs at least 2 weeks to verify our build just in case it has problems or revisions so we're taking that into account too. We also want the EA release to be playable in all of the languages we support here on day 1 so the extra time is for the localizers to do their thing as well.

The first two weeks of March is fully packed with amazing indie games and we expect Spring Sale will also happen during this time too. So the best date we could choose is at the end of March.

But this is now set on stone and we won't be doing any delays anymore! So please be rest assured with that! Our publisher also told us it's our final chance too haha so we definitely need to get it out! But I still appreciate them for being super patient with us!

I'm also currently have been down with the flu for a week now which factored in the delay. Again, I'm really sorry for not being able to reach expectations once again.

But what I can say is that if you loved Chapter 1, Chapter 2 and 3 will blow your mind! In content alone, Chapter 2 enemies are twice the amount of variations vs Chapter 1. And all of them have complex AI.

Again, thank you everyone for sticking with us since the very beginning! We couldn't have made it here without each and everyone one of you! Hope you look forward to the EA release!

Relic Abyss v0.4.82 - Item Duplication fix

Just made a quick fix for another item duplication glitch one of our Japanese players found.

This is the reason why we will reset items once we release the game on EA haha.

Some gameplay feedback and areas that could be improved

After about 6 hours of gameplay so far, I still haven’t been able to clear the second difficulty even after multiple attempts. The most frustrating part is that out-of-run progression relies solely on equipment, and the sense of improvement is not very noticeable. For example, there is currently no way to reduce incoming magic damage. Replaying the first difficulty also doesn’t guarantee a stable clear, and it’s difficult to obtain gear that offers meaningful upgrades. In-game, I mainly played the A...

FEEDBACK - It's too SLOW.

Everything about the pacing is PAINFULLY SLOW. The stat increase are also STINGY, from 4 secs to 3.496 to SWING A SWORD. wth is even that. What kills survivor-like games like these is the stat distribution early on, avoid decimals, those things add nothing but frustration and makes the player regret picking that upgrade when it doesn't do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Normal attacks should give you a chance early on but in this game it is so SLOW that I'd rather ditch the normal attacks to make way for another projectile s...
