Let's do this.

So what's up?

Well, we've got...

Prettier Menu: I've had enough time to decide I like it. The menu is now more unified, just like how the walls in my apartment all have cracks in the same corners! (I'm speaking metaphorically, of course. Probably)

Code Cleanup: blah blah blah code programming stuff you don't care about probably. Okay fine, I'll tell you!
New input system: This adds amazing new features, like you can use more Gamepad buttons to press the button, you can use the arrow keys or WASD to tilt the button... it's a whole new experience!
Package Updates and Removals: packages are like zits: you don't want to break em cuz they'll spew goo everywhere, but you also don't want them to be too obvious. Fortunately, I was able to tidy up one and break the other in my armpit where nobody will know (I'm speaking metaphorically, of course, probably).
Faster iteration: This will never affect you, but it affects me, so I think you care, cuz I'm your dad. Metaphorically. Of course. Probably.

Release 0.2.5: Partial UI Update

I did a partial UI update.

I figured, rather than update the entire UI and then go "that was dumb", it made more sense to find the dumb early. "Fail fast" as they always say (though I never bothered listening to them beyond that, I've got no time for failures).

So you can see the UI updates on some of the menu screens, but not all of the menu screens. It just lets us see if we like it! ːperretː

I suspect I may be partial to my own work, but I LOVE IT!!!! So I can only trust that you do too. Because you're my kids.

Oh yeah, here's the release notes (all the professionals have these, and I'm a professional ːvanilla2ː):

FU (Feature Update): Added punch animation to button, and did a partial design update ːVSnakeː
BF (Bug Fix): Escape no longer opens the console ːReeneOKː

It feels so good to be pushing out regularly updates. It's like I'm giving birth every week!

Release 0.2.4: Euphoria in the Cloud

I've been practicing confidence. So I pushed this update without testing.

Surely my personal experiment will pay off.

Here's what happened that's good:

Steam Cloud Saves Work Again: I think they worked before. I don't think I actually ever tested them. But when I ported the game to Unity, the paths changed, and I didn't feel like updating it until now. I just needed the creative inspiration, y'know?
EULA Added: Did you ever notice that "Euphoria" and "EULA" both start with "Eu", except in "EULA" the "u" is capitalized?
(Bug Fix) Can no longer click the button when the menu is open: That was confusing. I mean, before it was working. Now it's working. And it's not! Confusing.
